Has worked better than the professionals
We moved into a historic home a little over a year ago and quickly realized that the previous owner had a serious roach problem. From the very beginning, we were finding live roaches in almost every room of the house, and we even found evidence of them in the attic. We hired a professional pest-control company to spray, but even a month later, we were still seeing roaches. That’s when I decided to try Harris Roach Powder—and I’m so glad I did! The powder has been incredibly effective for us. It has no noticeable odor, and the dispenser makes it easy to apply a very fine layer into cracks, crevices, and hard-to-reach areas. It can even spray the powder several feet, which is especially helpful in an old house with lots of nooks and crannies. The powder continues to work as long as it stays dry. The biggest difference we noticed is that when we occasionally see a roach now, it is dead rather than alive and running through the house! The boric acid works by dehydrating the insects, and the powder can also be carried back to areas where other roaches are hiding. After dealing with this problem for so long, we are extremely impressed with the results. We highly recommend Harris Roach Powder to anyone struggling with a roach problem. It has been a game changer for our home!

Late review...but this stuff earned it 😂
I bought this back in August 2025, so this review is about a year overdue. I was scrolling Amazon today, saw this product again, and immediately thought, "Wait...I NEED to leave a review for this!" For some context, my husband and I rent a home that we absolutely love. Our landlord has been great, but unfortunately the previous tenants left behind one very unwanted gift... 🪳🪳🪳 When we first moved in, we'd maybe see 1 roach a day in the kitchen. Annoying, but manageable. We kept everything clean - no crumbs, dishes washed, counters wiped down, trash taken out, etc. But somehow the problem just kept getting worse. One became five. Five became...I stopped counting 😭. At that point we realized we weren't just seeing roaches - we had a full-blown infestation 😭😩😱!! Like...a REALLY BAD one. I'm the overly proactive one in our marriage 😂, so I wasn't waiting around. I emptied every cabinet, deep cleaned everything, moved basically our entire kitchen into the dining room, and started researching products. That's when I found this boric acid powder. I applied it throughout the kitchen, and...it absolutely worked. 🙌 Now, if you're dealing with a serious infestation like we were, don't expect overnight miracles. In our case, it took about 4 months with the kitchen mostly torn apart so the powder could do its job. But the results were worth every bit of patience. Today, a year later, I can still walk into my kitchen, flip on the lights, and NOT have to carry a sandal as a weapon 😂. One thing I will mention: This powder sticks around. Even after cleaning, wiping, and vacuuming over the last year, I still occasionally find traces of it in little cracks and corners. That wasn't a dealbreaker for me, but it's something to be aware of. Overall, if you're dealing with a stubborn infestation, I genuinely recommend this product!! It wasn't an instant fix, but it was an effective one. Hopefully I never have to fight roaches again 🤞🪳, but if I do...this is absolutely the product I'd buy again. I still have plenty left over, (I'd say half the bag) so the extra could probably cover the rest 😎

This product is amazing! I love the idea of the little canister to pour the powder in. It is easy to use and the little pointer attachment can go under the tinniest place to squeeze the powder in. It’s odorless and sprays out so freely. Already I am seeing roach reduction in my home. I like that it’s safe to use and the price is very affordable. Definitely a keeper!

Next time I wont even call the exterminator!
We live in a really old apartment had an exterminator come 3 times... at the end of the day one application of this and a week later roaches gone.

Works great.
This product comes in a very fine powder. Blows around and washes off easily when applied around the house outside. You have to constantly re apply to be effective. We live in a doublewide mobile home that sits above the ground. We have a brick and mortar skirt with numerous vents. I started making small piles in front of any vents or openings and used a strong blower to blow the powder all around under the house. After that we very rarely ever see a bug of any kind inside the house. This boric acid works great when applied widely where it can stick.

The powder is messy and the tool is difficult to use...
The powder is messy and didn't really work for me. The dispensing tool stopped working so I had to use a spoon to distribute the powder throughout my kitchen. For me, the roaches ran over the powder in small groups and continued to come out when the lights were off.

Simple, Affordable Powder That Works When Applied Correctly
This boric acid powder is effective when used correctly and in thin, targeted applications. I applied it in cracks, behind appliances, and along baseboards in light dusting layers. Results are not immediate, but over time pest activity in treated areas decreased. The key is restraint—too much powder reduces effectiveness because pests will avoid it. This works best as a maintenance or support product, not a standalone solution. Pros: ● Very affordable ● Long-lasting residual effect ● Works on multiple pests Cons: ● Easy to misuse (over-application) ● Slow results
