Total Block Clear SPF 65 Size: 2 OZ

I get a bad case of discoloration on my face in the summer even with broad rimmed hats and regular sun screen was a joke. This block has helped a lot. I still see some darkening but not like it used to be in the summer. There arb two problems with this block, it leaves a white sheen on your skin that doesn't look very nice. I'm considered a light skin black person and I have to wear my makeup a little thicker to hide the ashy look this block can give you. I use regular sun screen on my chest and body.My second complaint is the price. Yikes, are they kidding. I have to admit one little bottle last me about 6 weeks but Ouch! the price is painful. However, I have to bite the bullet.What we women are willing to pay for beauty or at least to look normal.

This works quite well for people who are sun sensitive. I have tried other brands but this one really blocks the sun. I hate sunscreens they get every where, stain surfaces etc. But this one I use only on my face so it is pretty ok. Like most sunscreens there are chemicals but this one is the best i have found and i use it only when i am going somewhere that i cannot avoid the sun exposure.

This Fallene Total Block SPF 65 (Untinted) sunblock is now my go-to facial sunblock. I have sensitive facial skin and sunblocks like Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch (which I use without any problems on my body) cause my face to develop red, hard, splotches. My coworker gifted me a bottle of this Total Block and I loved it. The sunblock doesn't feel greasy. No more having to debate between suffering sun damage or red splotches! I bought a bottle for my mother as well and she loves it as well.Update (10/2016):I've been using this product for over a year now, and it does an outstanding job as a sunblock. After a long, sunny summer, my face isn't tanner than the rest of me, and I don't have any new freckles. The formula is quite runny, which makes it easy to apply, but you'll want to give the bottle a good shake first. After the sunscreen dries, my skin doesn't feel greasy or oily, although my skin is slightly tacky to the touch. I also haven't had an issue with breakouts, even with my sensitive acne-prone skin. In addition, layering on foundation and makeup isn't a problem.I didn't notice at first, since I'm pretty light-skinned, but this Total Block Clear doesn't dry completely clear. It does leave a slight opaque layer. I looked paler after I applied it, but it didn't bother me very much until I noticed one day that I looked ever-so-slightly panda-like since I slather this everywhere on my face except for my eyes. Even so, I'd still highly recommend this sunscreen, since I'd choose sun protection over vanity any day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (Total Block also has another version where you customize the color to be like foundation... I haven't tried it since it sounds like too much work, but it's an option.)Pros:- Great at actually blocking the sun!- Non-greasy- Doesn't clog my pores or cause breakoutsCons:- Doesn't dry clear and leaves a slightly opaque layer (can be fixed by makeup though!)- Not waterproof (lasts during normal daily use, but if you're getting drenched at Niagara Falls, you'll need to reapply.)

I have porphyria cutanea tarda and need a total sun block. i have used this on my face this winter and it seems to be very effective in blocking the sun. We are in the middle of winter and i am a grounds keeper so i am covered up with winter clothes so we will see when spring gets here if it works well. I will write another review soon.

I use this daily, and it's the first sunblock I found which doesn't trigger a breakout. Effectively protects my fair skin from the nasty rays!

I had high hopes for this sunblock. There is a slight tint to the lotion and, despite this, it still leaves a slight white cast. If you have dry or combination skin, the white cast will highlight any peeling or flakes. It also leaves some residue along the hairline. There are both chemical and physical sunblock ingredients so, if you want a physical (zinc oxide and titanium dioxide) sunblock only, this won't work. I am back to my search for a good sunscreen.

I've been wearing Fallen Total Block for years; excellent sun protection!
