I bought it for random DIY use at home and founf it to be sufficiently powered for basic materials. The supplied blades are not great for metals. I have so far primarily used it for cutting Plastics around hard to reach corners, and it works fine. The size and weight is almost similar to an angle grinder, so one should consider that before buying for DIY.

After turning on, it takes a couple of seconds to go to full rpm. Perfect for cutting upon 3 mm thickness material. More than that, it would be a suicide for the tool.
