Works perfectly - Allows you to always start a trip with full canisters
First - worked perfectly. I have a whole bunch of half used small canisters. I will not take them on a backpacking trip because I want a full canister, so they sit there. I was able to very quickly refill my 1/2 used canisters. This gadget worked great. I did use a scale and bled some excess gas out, and I can't say if that is a must. I just brought my used canisters to the proper weight. How to use: Put the canister to be filled in the freezer for a while. Put the filling canister in war water (90's F) to make things go faster. Connect, open the valve, wait a tiny bit, close the valve and disconnect. I went to the extra step of weight the finished product to make sure it had enough. I had to bleed 2 canisters because they had 10% extra, and I did not know if that would be a problem. Highly recommended.

Great little transfer valve.
I was tired of carrying 2 half fuel bottles on trips. I've used it top off a couple bottles already. It works great. I stick the bottle getting fuel in some ice and it seems to help. Doesn't take long at all. I usually just open the valve and close it and it seems to transfer about 10 grams of fuel each time. It's really compact and light only weighing 22 grams.

Very Handy
I had quite the collection of propane canisters before I got this devise. This was actually my second purchase. The 1st became stripped and I was unable to screw the canister onto one side. Sill worth the money.

Works well - weigh the cartridges to get exact amounts
I have combined multiple partially empty canisters into one full one and refilled little ones from big ones - it is definitely worth it, especially if the partly full canisters are piling up or you can get half empty ones for free at campgrounds. If possible do it with a scale to avoid overfilling. I stick the canister to be filled on ice and then connect the donor canister on top and open the valve. Unfortunately you have to disconnect them to weigh them. It is easiest with the canisters that list their tare weight, otherwise weigh them empty if possible.

Defective Valve
The valve did not work in fact it is dangerous! The valve does not shut off and shoots gas out! This is potentially a liable product. I took the valve apart and you can see teh burr inside the barrel. The burr acted like a hard stop and prevented the valve from closing. Indeed a dangerous product.

It’s ok
You have to have a scale if you’re gonna do this and make sure you’re in a ventilated area or outdoors. It does the job well just very easy to overfill or under-fill without a scale. It’s a very simple device to use. Also it doesn’t matter which way the valve is going by the way. Please refer to YouTube tutorials on using the valve. Good purchase for me.

Great product
I use this to empty one partially filled fuel can into another. It works great. Freeze the fuel can that you want to fill for about 20 minutes then place it right side up. Place the second fuel can upside down and connect them. The fuel will go into the frozen can pretty fast. You can hear it as it fills. Works great and saves me from carrying half empty cans.

Required Equipment
If you're a backpacker that uses isobutane canisters this is a required accessory to consolidate partially used canisters.
