Makes my skin soft and smooth
Before I start, let me tell you a little about my skin. I am fair-skinned. I had freckles as a kid, and as an adult, they went away, and now I have brown spots. Ugh. My skin runs super dry and dehydrated, so I need moisture and lots of it.I always try new skincare products with a healthy dose of skepticism. I mean, let's face it, not even the most fantastic product out there is going to change your life in 30 days...no matter what the advertisers tell you. If any product could make our skin look the way it does in a filtered selfie, we'd all know about it, and we'd all be buying it! If you are expecting Dr. Babor's product to do what I just described, you are going to be disappointed, but I suspect you know that. However, the good doctor's product is very nice. It's an excellent quality product. It feels nice as you apply it; it goes on evenly and smoothly, absorbs into the skin quickly, and does not leave a residue. The best part is it leaves my dry, dehydrated skin soft and moisturized. Life-changing? Nope. But a great product that helps my skin to look its best.I am happy with this product. Pleased enough that I will probably buy it again, and I am interested in trying other products from the line.If you have found any of the information in my review useful, please let me know by clicking on the "helpful button below my review. Lightweight, hydrating, noticeable differences in skin appearance
This is the first DOCTOR BABOR product I have ever used and I am VERY impressed!! Originally, I was going to give the product 4 stars due to the problems I had with the applicator dropper but the product itself is worthy of 5 stars!! No doubt about that!!!The serum is thin, watery, and easy to spread over my skin. I only need a few drops to cover my entire face. After application, my skin feels soft, smooth, and hydrated. Unlike some serums, there is no sticky, greasy residue left behind.Okay, the applicator.... it's a royal pain! You have to push the white button down before removing the dropper. Sometimes it works well, sometimes it fills up with air bubbles, making it difficult to determine how much serum I am actually getting. The results, though, make it totally worth it! I would go as far as to say that this serum gives nearly instant results. I don't have any deep wrinkles, only some fine lines here and there. The serum does a great job of plumping my skin to diminish these fine lines. I have been using this product for nearly a month and I think it has made a noticeable difference! The serum is unscented so if you have any sensitivities to fragrance, you should be able to use this one. It has no scent whatsoever!EXCELLENT product!!!

Game Changer
This serum is a game changer. Winter is rough on skin. Between the cold outdoors and the heat indoors skin gets dry and stressed. This serum applies with an eye dropper. It is clear, and absorbs quickly. Non-irritating it eliminates dryness and leaves skin soft, smooth and visibly refreshed. Impressed.

Hydrates, Plumps & Minimizes Fine Lines Well-Difficult Dropper
DOCTOR BABOR HydroRX Hyaluron Serum is a clear, lightweight serum without fragrance that I apply after cleansing (or toning) and follow with my face cream. It disappears into my skin quickly and doesn’t leave any noticeable residue. I have dry, sensitive skin, and this fragrance free formula feels nice and gentle. This serum does a really good job temporarily increasing hydration and plumping my skin so my fine lines are less noticeable and my skin seems firmer. It also makes my skin feel softer and give it a more youthful look and feel. I’m happy with the quick results, which last all day (or all night depending on when applied). I like that this performs so well without relying on silicone for smoothing and softening.I’ve used half the Babor bottle, but I can’t say if this serum offers longer term benefits that I may not get from other hyaluronic acid serums. This has “tetradecyl aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric urea trifluoroacetate”, which I’ve read can boost collagen and then skin’s capability of renewing hyaluronic acid. I can’t say if that makes this better in the long run, but I can say that I’ve used many excellent hyaluronic acid serums at a variety of price points that give me comparable or slightly better quick benefits (while others fall short). One that stands out to me as an example is Honest Beauty Stay Hydrated. It’s clean beauty at a much lower price point that I’ve compared side-by-side with Babor on half my face a few times. While results are similar, Honest also lacks silicones and makes my skin texture even softer and my skin also feels a little more comfortable. My dry skin just feels slightly more hydrated, and my fine lines even more minimized. But I can’t say if others would have the same results or if both deliver the same long term results. The one thing I don’t like is that the Babor dropper is annoying. I need to firmly press the white button while holding the dropper in one hand. I don’t have dexterity issues and can deal with it, but it’s not all that easy and unlikely to be a good choice for those who do have dexterity issues. I think Babor is a premium serum that provides my skin noticeable short run benefits, but there other hyaluronic acid serums that perform as well and don’t have that difficult dropper to deal with. Like it. 4 stars. Made in Germany.Ingredients: Water (aqua), glycerin, betaine, phenoxyethanol, xanthan gum, pseudoalteromonas ferment extract, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium hyaluronate, caprylyl glycol, disodium EDTA, alanine, proline, serine, citric acid, sodium phosphate, tetradecyl aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric urea trifluoroacetate, sodium hydroxide, magnesium chloride.

Not enough for me
First of all, I don't like the bottle. The button was very stiff for the first 2 weeks which made it difficult to dispense the serum. Now, the button works fine but I get a lot of air bubbles in the dropper for some reason so it usually takes 2 pumps to get enough serum to cover my face. I also noticed that my skin seemed drier than usual so after the first 2 weeks I added a facial oil at night. I have been using the serum, cream and day and night eye creams. I like the eye creams and the face cream the best of the products but I wasn't that impressed with this serum so I wouldn't buy it again. I am in my sixties though so my skin is pretty dry these days. If you're still young or your skin is on the oily side, then this might be perfect for you.
