First, it was a little longer than I realized it would be. I might have preferred it being a couple inches shorter. But, I've worn it on a few runs, a day of mowing, an evening in the kayak, and even under my helmet on a bike ride. It's comfortable enough that I usually forget that it's on my head.This afternoon was the first time I've used if for a real warm run. It didn't seem to cool very much until later in the run. In fact, I thought about taking it off about a mile into the run because it was too warm. But, I left it on and it seemed to begin to cool later on. Maybe I squeezed too much of the water out of it. Once I started sweating, the evaporation of the sweat from the material seemed to cool it.Anyway, I love the color (blue) and the material is very soft and comfortable. I plan to try to use this not only for summer, but into the fall and early winter with hiking and running.

Picked up one of these to add mask potential for any outdoor activities. The material is light weight and I can easily breath with it on, even when running. It's light weight but even in moderate cold helps to cut down on wind chill so happy to have this for sunny ski weather, cycling, as well as hiking running.The design is very long, but can be scrunched down like an attached scarf and worn around the next. From there you can pull it up to cover ears, mouth, nose and the elastic will hold it in place without cutting into my skin. If instead you want it for cooling, that scrunched scarf technique creates a handy pouch to add ice water in the summer to keep your neck cold a great place to cool since arteries run near it and will work to cool the rest of the body.The material does capture sweat slightly, but doesn't show as horrible salt/sweat stains. Rinse it lightly or run it through the wash if needed (have done both) but find it doesn't hold smells like other item that capture sweat so not as needed.

I got this for face and neck protection when walking outside, while avoiding messy sunscreens. I haven't been sunburned, so they do the job at least to that extent. They are lightweight, but not as breathable as I had hoped if you're working hard. Of course, they don't take the place of a 3 ply surgical mask if infection control is what you're after.My main issue is that the tube shape doesn't do much to cover the base of the neck. Still looking for a good style to cover that gap.

This is a very nice and durable face covering. My boyfriend works construction, and is always out in the hot sun, and around dust. I bought this for him before COVID times and he would wear it around his neck, face or head and it would protect him from the sun. He would put it in the cooler, and then put it on and it would cool him down. In the winter he could wear it as a face covering and it is not the best for keeping warm but it worked as something atleast. Now, we are in COVID times and he wears it as his face coverings when we go out in public. Its very breathable. Easy to wash. & has not fallen apart. I would purchase this again!

I've tried cooling towels before, and they were ok but felt strange and clammy and would dry weirdly and crack. This was the first time I'd tried this design, and it is nothing like my previous experiences. It's comfortable, works well, and is easy to maintain. This works especially great when I bring along ice water in my insulated water bottle and douse it and put it on when I'm done exercising. I've been using it a lot the past few weeks after running outside when it's been hovering around 100° and humid in Texas, and I've cooled down much more quickly.I would be remiss if I forgot to mention that the UPF was another big factor for me (redhead in the sun in Texas), and it's perfect for protecting my neck - much better for me and the environment than sunscreen. I've been trying to cover up more and use less sunscreen, and this does that job for a sensitive area.I am ordering a second one now.

I work outside every day. Including during Florida's south west brutal summers. People ask me on a weekly basis how I do it and how do I stay cool and hydrated. WELL . THIS IS HOW> I have about 10 of these and wear one around my neck every day. Don't be fooled by similar brands that are a different material. This sheds moisture and heat. The other brands i have tried are so hot you might as well be wearing a wool scarf . Only con: is over time after constant use The band stretches and doesn't make a tight fit around my nose when i pull it up to block from dust or debris. But for the price its a no brainer to just throw it out and buy a new one after this happens.

Runs a bit large but otherwise its good

It works as expected but was pretty expensive ($26.50 CDN plus $6 shipping/import fees) It's not worth the cost and wait times for shipping to Canada these days!
