Good for dirt and grime, but won’t handle mold
After 8 years in our house, I decided that I was sick of the mold and crud on the concrete drive way and sidewalks. I looked at patio cleaners and decided to give this a try. I have a blue clean ar240 and I used the orange Krud Kutter cleaner for concrete and driveways. Overall I’d say the patio cleaner did ok, but it’s not going to remove everything. While it does do a good job of removing dirt accumulated from rain and the elements, it’s not powerful enough to remove mold (at least with the Krud Kutter by itself). The nice thing about it is that it does make the concrete whiter, but you still need the wand to make a skinny fan shaped water jet to scrape off the green or black mold that forms over time. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and I do believe it saved time by cleaning off the dirt so I can focus on the mold spots. It’s just not a magical remove everything tool. If you don’t let the driveway cleaning go like I did, this is much faster than using a wand. It still took me two and a half days to use the patio cleaner and wand to clean the driveway and sidewalk (more sidewalk to the right). And don’t forget to put sunscreen on your feet like I did if you do this barefoot :-(

Works surprisingly well on concrete!
The short form is: It WORKS! Even on fairly rough and dirty 23-year-old Florida concrete! There are 2 AR Blue Clean surface cleaner attachments, the cheaper one and this one. After checking out the website, I felt like this looked like the newer of the 2 models and thought I'd give it a try, even at double the other attachment's price. It's very easy to use. It came ready-to-use right out of the box. Bayonet the extender to the attachment, then bayonet the attachment to the pressure washer handle. Place the disk in contact with the surface and pull the trigger. PULL IT TOWARD YOU slowly. Take your time and overlap strokes. And then marvel at how you never would've guessed an electric pressure washer could do quite so good a job. Some oddities: The most noticeable upset is the 12" disk is smaller than you'd otherwise wish for. Depending on your overlap, your cleaning swath could be as narrow as 6". Just takes more time. But what were you expecting? A gas pressure washer? It's super-light, which is pretty surprising if you're used to the gas pressure washer surface cleaner attachment. Keep the cleaner disk totally in contact with the surface, which is key for the cleaning effect. It doesn't glide quite like the gas attachment does. On rough concrete like mine, I can only pull. The attachment goes in equally well rightside-up as upside-down. It works equally well both ways. Ask me how I know. But ergonomically, you'll find one way is better than the other. I haven't used the detergent bottle yet. Other remarks: I turned on the washer a foot or so away from my leg just to see how powerful it was...and it didn't sting or anything. With the ordinary lance on the end, the same thing would definitely sting. So that implies to me the nozzles in the attachment are keyed to just the right distance so as to maximize the cleaning effect on your surface. The real cleaning effect seems to come from the hurricane-like spinning nozzles rather than the raw power of the pressure washer. That's good for safety, and overspray if you get the disk down wrong isn't too bad either. 5 stars!

Matched well to AR Blue - but “floaty”
This unit performed very well cleaning faster than just using the wand. It is a very lightweight unit, which tends to “float up” and sometimes tip sideways. While I like the lighter weight, it seem as though it should have a ring of weight on top to help keep it down, which would improve the cleaning capabilities.

Great add-on for light surface cleaning and maintaining
Purchased primarily for cleaning our outdoor PVC deck, I’ve had good experience with my ARClean 1800psi power washer. Living in the PacificNorthwest we get a high buildup of moss and mold esp in the winter and early spring. For the first cleaning I do each year, the 1800 psi direct spray is required to deep clean the deck surface— however doing so requires significant time and copious amounts of water. This attachment comes in handy for ongoing maintaining and light cleaning. The increased surface area of the brush combined with the two rotating heads, are very effective in removing light dirt, pollen, tree droppings, bird poop etc. I was able to clean the entire deck surface in about 90 minutes; where using the spray nozzle only would usually take 4-5 hours. So if regular maintenance and light cleaning are what you’re looking, this attachment fits the bill and will save lots of time and water. Pro Tip: as in the video repeated runs slowly and with light scrubbing motion over small surfaces works much better than long runs and pressing down hard on the brush head. Doing so will leave “spiral” marks on your deck and will only require you to go over the same area twice. Motto: low and slow.

What a cheap horrible item
Worst thing ever. if I could give it zero stars I would. First, not all parts were there (the attachment was missing...good thing i didn't need it). Hooking up was easy if you have a bayonette wand (my pressure washer is AR Blue so I do) but its horrible. Poured the soap in the dispenser and immediately it leaked out all over the concrete. Useless!! Then when I turned on the washer it would continuously flip up leaving water hitting me and everything else. it's way to lightweight to hold down. The few passes I did left circles all over where i was trying to clean! I took it off my wand and just used the wand to clean and remove the circles. it took longer but at least my patio is clean and there aren't circles all over. Don't waste your money on this.

The AR Blue Clean Twister is a perfect match for our existing AR Blue Clean pressure washer and it works like a charm. For perfect results, one needs to move the twister around very slowly. However, overall we got better and faster results using it in comparison with using a wand. I recommend this product wholeheartedly.

Every year I am always power washing my driveway with all the algae from the spring pollen. This will help in making the job easier.
