I realized I had smoke alarms, but nothing to stop it if it did happen. Mounted these on the wall and hoped I would never have to use them. March of 2023 I fired up my propane grill to preheat it for cleaning. The grill was up against the brick of my house. I let it heat up while making dinner for the family inside the home. My dog was out back and came barking to the door. I tried to let her in but she began barking furiously and took off out around the house. Not sure what was happening but knowing there was a problem, I followed. As I came around the side of the house I saw my grill engulfed in flames, and flames reaching up and licking the soffit. I ordered two extinguishers. **Q: Will these Fire extinguishers rust if kept outside?** A: In general no they should be fine unless the paint gets chipped off.
