This is the second time that KZ has truly impressed me. It is aesthetically pleasing, has excellent sound quality, and even the packaging is visually appealing. It has the ability to make even mediocre-sounding headphones sound incredible. I am very pleased with it.

Although there's supposed to be a manufacturer warranty I'm sure having a hard time using it. As the other review states works great for 60 days then my left channel shorted out then quit all together unless holding it in a specific way. I am no longer buying kz products over this.

PRO- Low volume hissing. Sensitive IEMs experience a sort of hissing when using low quality dongles. The hiss is barely noticeable, even in complete quiet.- Quality cable. The cable is actually quite nice. It's a bit stiff, but it's also not like apple's dongle where it could break at any moment.- Sound quality. The sound quality is a double edge blade. On the one hand, it's great. All of the instruments had more separation and better clarity.CON- Sound quality. This dongle makes the bass bloated and boomy. It gets fatiguing when using IEMs that are already bassy. It makes the bass punchy, but boomy and bleeds into everything. I would say that this dongle is great for IEMs with low bass output.I do not recommend this product in its current state. The sound quality is good and bad, but the bad outweigh the good.

Plug and play on Pixel 7, no issues with the device not being recognized, CX31993 chip, sound quality and volume improved drastically compared to the official Google dongle, also way better fit and build, better construction, build to last. Tested on JBL tune760 and B&W px headsets.

The white noise while nothing is playing is too annoying. I own the Simgot EW200 and Fiio FH3 earbuds and they both had low-volume hissing while no music was playing. Otherwise, the build quality is good. I tried plugging it into the USB-C of my phone as well as my PC and there was hissing from both sources. It did not seem to hiss on my older generation earbud set, so your mileage may vary but I wouldn't risk it.

I had originally given the KZ AM01 DAC a stellar review. I have 200+ GB of music files and use multiple IEM's almost daily. The sound quality of the AM-01 *WAS* great, past tense.HOWEVER, 6 days, yes SIX DAYS after the return period expired it now doesn't work.Has a short in the wire at the USB-C plug that makes the left channel drop out!Not my only KZ product, and generally I love their IEM's, but having a DAC fail in 60 days is unacceptable!RUN FORREST RUN!!!Get anything BUT a DAC that fails in 2 months.

I’ll first start by mentioning the 600ohm claim. I did test the dongle with my 6xx which is 300 ohm and although it does give you way more volume than the apple dongle , the dongle doesn’t really have enough power to make them sound as good as a proper dac/amp dongle. If you are not that picky then the dongle does technically drive something of higher impedance.The sound of the dongle with IEMs does seem to be better than the apple dongle, it’s also a bit better than a ddhifi tc35b that I also use. I use a camera adapter and a type c to usb adapter to make these work with iPhone. With easy to drive IEMs the sound is pretty clean and has good soundstage and imaging, the build is also pretty good.Overall it’s a pretty good dongle for the price the only odd thing about it is that it doesn’t have any markings that say KZ on it.

iPad Pro 12.9インチ (2018)でも使用する事が出来ました。しかしApple純正のUSB C - 3.5mm変換アダプタと比較した結果、こちらの方が音圧が低く、ホワイトノイズも乗っていました。価格はApple純正アダプタの2倍なので、こちらの方が高性能かと思いましたが、明らかに性能が低いです。ケーブルは布で保護されていますが、かなり硬めで、USB Cに挿入するときも硬めでした。同じ音量で動画や、音楽を再生すると、Apple純正アダプタの半分の音量になります。また、安価なDD型ドライバーの有線イヤホンほど、顕著にホワイトノイズが乗りました。検証に使用したイヤホンは、ALPEX A1000R DD型（1,000円前後）、Sennheiser IE 100 PRO DD型（10,000円前後）、Klipsch Image X10 BA型（40,000円前後）の3種類です。ホワイトノイズの高い順に、ALPEX A1000R　>>>>　Sennheiser IE 100 PRO　>>>>　Klipsch Image X10という価格通りの結果になりました。ALPEX A1000Rは「シューッ」とハッキリとしたホワイトノイズが入り、Sennheiser IE 100 PROは「サー」と小さいホワイトノイズが入りました。Klipsch Image X10はホワイトノイズが全く入らなかったです。しかし3種類とも音量がかなり小さくなり、どれもApple純正アダプタの半分の音量しか出ていませんでした。価格が2600円（2023年12月5日現在）と高いのに、音圧が低くホワイトノイズも乗るので、わざわざ購入するメリットはないと思います。iPad用に購入するのであれば、Apple純正アダプタが1380円（2023年12月5日現在）と安価で、ホワイトノイズも乗らず、音圧もこちらより高いので、素直に純正を選んだ方が良いと思います。

ベース・サブベースを特に持ち上げる音作りです。もちろん音も解像度高く満足して聴くことが出来ますがあくまで値段相応です。ゲイン調整不可ですがスマホで鳴らせるイヤホンであればほとんど対応出来るかと思います。テンションを上げたい時に使うと値段以上の価値を感じる個人的に好きなDACです。
