TULIPEtimo Crochet Hook-Size G/6

I have been crocheting since 2011. I've always purchased cheap hooks, from various retailers, online and in person. I had read about nicer hooks, like Clover, Furls, Tulip, etc. I had tried some nicer bamboo hooks, some wooden ones, and a few pricier hooks and was pretty underwhelmed. Until I tried these. When I say the yarn glides around this hook, I MEAN IT. From someone who was once very skeptical about how big an impact a simple hook could have on the crocheting experience.... They're worth it. 11/10 recommend. Take the plunge. Try it out. You have almost nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

For many years I just used cheap crochet hooks without any comfort/ergonomics build in...many of which were handed down to me from my grandmother. I love this hook, though. It's comfortable, but designed to easily move with each stitch movement (...I pinch-hold the hook, not fist-hold). It slides easily with the yarn I have used and the hook is deep enough to catch as well or better than cheap hooks. The shaft is a little short if you are stacking several loops, they might run up against the comfort-grip, but this isn't a problem for anything I've worked on.

I had not tried the Tulip hooks and wanted to test one out. I found that the grip is comfortable and the hook is very smooth to use and I do like the shape. The only thing I wish is that the grip were a little bit longer as it hits my palm. I am used to Clover Amour which does not fall within my palm but extends past giving a little more comfort.

This is a nice book and far superior to most. However it simply doesn’t compare to Clover Amor for comfort and ease of use.

I have been crocheting for over 40 years. I have tried so many hooks and this one is amazing. It glides trough yarn with ease and is very comfortable to use. I love it.

I love the way the Etimo Crochet hooks slide through any type thread. I use the G6 for Cottons and Light yarns, and it is a wonder to work with. At 70, my hands can't hold steel hooks anymore, but I can hold these, and the stubby shank is just right for my small hands. I have bought this brand before, and have two different sets, just replaced the one I lost. I would recommend this brand to anyone. I would, and did, purchase again.

This one of the best crochet hooks I've used. The shaft keeps the loops consistent and the handle is very comfortable in the hand. Some hooks are short and hit a nerve in my palm this one is *just right*
