The new unit with have longer shaft with this harness will fall short of expectations.If you've a lawn care crew, each should have their own personally fitted harness. Sadly though, Central Am. nor Asian employees won't benefit; average height wise, they can't adjust harness up high enough.Manufacturer might consider alteration to shoulder padding length. No need to drape padding below clavicle. This allowing more upward lift adjustment for average Jane.Speaking of which; Bought a second for the wife who is left handed. Was readily able to swap to lefty and you wouldn't know it except the center buckle is backwards.

Just received this and used it once. So far, it seems to be a good purchase. Will update again after a few uses.

Took it out of the box, adjusted it to fit me and my husqvarna (had to add my own ring to the weed eater) and spent 3 hours trimming. Works great.

Purchased 2 of these harnesses to use with our 2 Stihl weed eaters. The harness takes the weight and makes it easier to weed wack. Being over 65 this is a must.

This makes trimming ditches so much easier and much more comfortable highly recommend it definitely would buy again.

My husband is asking why I didn't get this for him sooner! (Of course, because he never asked!) But seriously, he loves it! Says it makes using his trimmer so easy! He is 6'3" not skinny and it was easy for him to adjust the straps to get a comfortable fit and they are plenty long. His trimmer does not have a hook, so he put an extra strap on it and adjusted the harness accordingly. Says the pad are great, very comfortable. Would recommend this product.

Allows me to use my string trimmer without causing me discomfort and pain. I like all the adjustable buckles and to clip it to the trimmer is easy.
