Nice tool.. don't push it tool hard or it may tighten up the shaft locking it up. Otherwise great product

This thing is fantastic! I used it to engrave personal messages on a bunch of swords I bought for my groomsmen, as well as to engrave eyes on a wooden sculpture. I'm not saying it's the greatest engraver out there, but I'm very impressed by what it can accomplish at such a low price. The battery life isn't too bad, either -- maybe 20 or 30 mins of constant use? That's just an estimate. But I'm really impressed by how much control I have over it; it takes no longer to write a message with this than it does to write one with pen, and my handwriting is nearly the same. Great little product.

Its very cool because its a little bigger then a pen. You can hold it like a pen which I think would make it easy to use. Its for my husband for his bday. Well when we got it the battery was fully charged, so we put the battery in and tried to turn it on. It would not turn on. Then after we pushed the button to off it started getting really hot. My husband hurried and took it apart. The battery fell on the floor so he picked it up and it was hot as well. Idk what made it do that.

In the middle of using it almost every time it has had to be tapped against the surface to kick the battery back on, wastes a lot of time on big project. Works decently enough for the price maybe I just got a faulty unit. I have tried it with Alkaline AAA, rechargeable AAA, and the battery it came with and so far it does it with all of them

The media could not be loaded. This is perfect for anything before high level professional. You’d want a dremel that hooks up to the air compressor for that. This pen like engraver is awesome. It was just used on a magnetic phone mount and I’ll be using it for other things like metal. I have a metal engraver pen from Michael’s and I plan to throw that one out since this one is better for sure.•this is a rotary (spins) BUT it’s very easy to write with even if it’s dainty/small.•wrote for under 5mins and it got slightly warm. Not hot. Giving it a break when it does feel hot is no biggie.•it comes with a charger and a bunch of tips with options.•you remove/tighten the tips by un/screwing slightly the screw that’s by the top. The tools are in box•noise is there but it’s more muzzled to me and I tend to ignore what I don’t wanna hear.•portable obviously. And battery life I haven’t tested that out but it’s easy to just charge it.

Works excellent! I am using it for engraving stones and having no problems!

It works good but the battery doesn’t hold a charge for very long and over time it keeps getting worse.
