Works for Basketball Games!
- Sooo much easier than swiveling phone on tripod … especially when you forget to move it after a quick turnover & lay-up on the other side!- Used with a large phone (iPhone 12 Pro Max) so it’s heavy. Yet, cap was comfortable for the entire game.- Must adjust & check the video before each use to ensure it’s right (level, negative space, etc.).- If thread on the tightening rod starts to strip, planning on using threading “glue.”

Buy it only if you want the accessories that come with it.
It's easy to use. But it's only as good as your hat. I used the included hardware for other phone adaptations. That's it's only real value, in my opinion. It is front heavy. Head movements will move your hat. You can't see what you're filming. You'll be lucky to get good video of what is going on. I really missed some important action shots fiddling with it and important shots I thought I was capturing. Truth be told, I did not capture one useable video with this strapped to a hat.

Good concept did not work for my head size or camera weight
Honest listing and speedy shipment. Does not work for me but that is not the seller or design fault. The system is a good idea but because my head is large (cap size 7 3/4), the one-size-fits-all cap is too small, albeit made of sturdy material. The result is that when the camera is mounted, the cap is not fully or deeply seated onto my head so it tends to flip forward off my head while walking, turning, stooping, etc. - requiring one hand to hold the cap onto my head - which defeats the purpose of wearing a cap with camera design.. Also the rotating camera holding device uses a rigid plastic hinge design with interleaving loops through which the fastening bolt is threaded. I was not able to sufficiently tighten that hinge to prevent my iPhoneXR with Lifeproof brand case from rotating forward instead of locking at the desired angle. Perhaps if some shims were put into the hinge the bolt would seize sufficiently but have not tried any shims. The camera wrapping portion worked as it was supposed to by holding the camera firmly to the back plate which is then bolted to the cap's hinge. A very clever design but misses the mark for my personal use.

Works Great
Bought one with the clip on the bill hat. That hat had a tendency to move down over my eyes and the clip was not gripping the bill tightly. Bought the Octo Mount and it does the job. Holds tight to your head and the mount does not move as it is permanently fastened to the hat. I'm happy with the Octo Mount.

Love this hat, exactly what I was hoping for, EXCELLENT quality!
This is exactly what I was looking for. It holds my phone / camera security and allows me to have the exact right angle for shooting video. The seller was EXCELLENT working with, I had some questions on an adapter to allow me to mount my phone vertically for facebook live videos and he was quick to respond and help me resolve my questions. I couldn't ask for a better seller. I HIGHLY recommend this product. It is EXACTLY What you are looking for and GREAT quality! I am ordering a second one for my spouse. Kudos to the seller!

Weight distrobution
With my android on it it was too forward heavy. You would have to wear a chin strap to feel safe especially on windy days
