Don't bring this to the gym if you're clumsy
Mine still broke within a year :-(.

Too Stiff
Extremely stiff. It's to the point where if the cable moves at all, the stiffness will knock the IEMs out of your ears, ruining that secure fit

Does not really work for Etymotic
The cable is too heavy for Etymotic earphones, unless you try to wear the cable over your ear. It is a pity, because otherwise the cable is nice, and it has the notch to fit Etymotic ER. Also there is no labeling of L/R, also making them hard to use.

A must with Etymotic ER-4X
I don't often write reviews, but this cable is a must when used with the Etymotic ER-4X. I have it connected to the FiiO BTR7. All three are brand new. I'd owned Etymotics and a FiiO before and I was initially really disappointed with the monitors and the FiiO. But this cable brought everything to life. WOW. It's very microphonic, but so is the original cable. Very, very good.
