Size:CX5 24g Target has eliminated traditional radial grooves with their pioneering cortex grip. The milled cuts at the heart of cortex are cut axially along the line of throw to enhance grip and guide when you need it, and promote release when you don't. The Carrera Azzurri cortex dart comes complete with target Pro grip Blue vision shafts and target vision flights.

A fantastic dart!
CX4 22g Barrel - Diameter: 6.4mm (24g is 6.6mm) Length: 50mm Cortex gripShort Blue Vision Flights and Carrera 100 micro flights. Grip is 3.5/5 on the whole barrel since its straight. Smooth short sliver tip into a bull-nose.I really think you should find a dart shop or someone who has this type of dart (grip), so you can see if you like the grip style. Its way different then most grips. Personally I love it, it seems not really grippy when you release and just enough grip when you are throwing, if that makes sense. However a few of my darting friends didn't care for the grip as much. So before you pay $60+, I would be sure you like the grip.I think the release is smoother, I can maintain a super light grip. The balance is awesome and they fly straight and true. I like the blue coating too, looks good. If the grip is for you this is the dart! Many different style of barrel to choose from too.As far as the stems go... I use Harrows Clic, so I decided to try the supplied ones and what do you know, I busted 2 of them in an hour..I guess the Target Vision ones break easy. Never had problems with the normal Target Pro Grip ones. Simple fix, use the stems and shafts you are used to using. I love the Harrows Clics, check them out, priced higher then normal stems but well worth the money. They last longer so it will be cheaper in the long run.

Brittle plastic renders this product useless
Dart is balanced and flies well, briefly. Briefly because the shaft is absolutely garbage. Any pressure and it snaps around the flight. Broke within moments of use being removed from a board. Not struck with another dart or hitting the floor which happens routinely with darts, removed by hand. Sure I can replace the shaft but at this price point that is a poor solution.Product is made in china so it's possible a QA issue with the plastic part being brittle from poor manufacturing. There are ASTM standards for plastics, this isn't brain surgery or space flight. Brittle plastic on a dart shaft is bad.

Somehow got these new for $40...not $125. Absolutely awesome darts. Great balance. Great grip. GREAT LOOKS!After throwing them for a while, I would pay $125 for them, if I had to.

Best darts I ever had
The "ring-less" cortex axial grooves are pure genius. These beautiful darts are a joy to throw with coal cracker flights.
