Karaoke might be a strong element used to promote this kit but, in essence, you’re buying a wireless microphone system that can be connected to pretty much any output device from a speaker, amplifier, speaker/amplifier, mixing deck and so on. In the kit you get the base station and two handheld microphones. There’s a power cable for the base station, a 6.5mm audio cable to link from the mix output to a speaker or amplifier input, and some microphone covers and holders. You need to provide four AA batteries to power the two microphones - two in each. Set up is easy. Simply plug the base station in, plug an output source in and turn on the microphones. Each should select a frequency but using the Hi/Lo button hidden under the screwable battery compartment one of five frequencies can be selected - presumably the two with the least interference. That’s it. That’s it in part because there are very few options available. From the base station you can set the base volume for each microphone and from the microphone you can change the frequency. Both the base station and the microphone provide frequency and frequency strength information on their respective small screens. The manufacturer suggests a 60 metre range for the microphones. In a standard house it’s more like 20 but still not bad. Sound quality is good but much of that depends on the amplifier and speaker you choose to use. Build quality is really quite good and the kit works well it what it aims to do, although the £79 price at time of review might be a little steep. This is NOT a karaoke machine though. Overall as a wireless microphone system this kit works well but you’ll need batteries and something to plug it into. Overall four stars.

Quality sound

These are great quality Mics, I've used them at house parties for karaoke and also at DJ Party's were two rappers where able to spit rhymes out from around 15m away, with no distortion or drop out. I'm very pleased with these mics, the battery life is also great. X2 pencil batteries to run. I'm still on my first set. Recommended.

Perfect tone and a good feel. This product is so close to putting high valued microphones to shame. Did a few song with this microphone and the recording was 10 out of 10. Clear and smooth, also holding the mic gives you a good heavy feel. I am loving this and would definitely recommend to give it a try.

Brilliant service from Tonor. A heavy handed client popped the button cover off the mic - which could have been popped back on - but they could not find the missing part. Tonor have replaced very easily for us - with consistent communication - even checking that the replacement product had been received! The Mics are great - just right for our purposes, and the issue was definitely ours and not theirs and they still did the very best to make sure that we had the correct replacement.

Separate channels for the microphones that get really well mixed when singing together. Great for karaoke or even party and other events!

Excellent produit

Meine Erwartungen wahren bei diesem Artikel nicht so hoch, ich habe aber bewusst diese günstige Mikrofone gekauft. Ich brauche die nur zum Karaoke Singen, da ich meine teuere Mikrofone nur selbst nutze und nicht weiter gebe. Ich war aber überrascht wie gut die für diesen Preis klingen, natürlich habe die hohe Handgeräusch Übertragung aber beim diesem Preis ist das völlig in Ordnung. Aber was mich richtig überrascht hat ist das diese Mikrofone kaum Rückkopplung haben, was natürlich in kleinen Räumen sehr oft vorkommt weil die Lautsprecher teilweise sehr nah stehen. Von mir für solche Karaoke Abende absolute Kaufempfehlung.

Non immaginavo avessero una resa qualitativa tale!! Resa sonora eccezionale (comprati per karaoke, molti, tra i tanti che li hanno usati, mi chiedono conto. Usati durante serate al chiuso, all'aperto, per cantare e per conferenze, in abbinamento ad un'altra stazione cordless di altra marca (diversificate solo le frequenze una VHF e l'altra UHF): mai un'interferenza, un fruscio. Alla vista e al tatto danno l'idea di essere professionali di alto livello!! Capsule robuste, anche i materiali del corpo telefono, trovo che siano ottimi (no plastica). Consumo batterie eccellente! Con 2 stilo AAA ci si fanno tante ore (indicatore di stato sul display).
