Excellent quality boards
Excellent quality boards for various projects. Charge via USB cable or from a decent solar panel that provides a good current, a simple but very effective way to charge 18650 battery's.

perfect for the needs i have, used inside 3d printed lithopane lights so could power them on by usb cable and if power goes out they work via battery. absolute must buy and will be buying more for other 3d printing projects

Good-value regulators, mediocre holders
Nice cheap regulator boards that work well. Would be better still with higher output current capacity. Minus one star for the holders because 1. They grip the cell too tightly so the -ve spring is unable to push the positive terminal into the +ve contact properly 2. They are awkward to insert and remove, 3. No room for a temperature sensor and 4 You only get 6 of them, you will need to buy more anyway so why not go for better quality holders in the first place

Works well to charge Li-Ion batteries safely
These are ideal for charging ESP projects. I used one to power a home made soil moisture sensor and charged it using a small solar panel.

Excellent value.
I bought these for a project using a single 18650 cell. It is fairly clear what pin does what, and I like the two LED's, a red to indicate charging and blue to indicate fully charged. These led's are incredibly bright... Just saying. USB C socket. It does all it needs to. I recommend.

Useful addition if you are using solar charging
Handy way to power a board ( Meshtastic ) and charge Li ion batteries . Handled the solar charging much better than the Heltec boards Great

Works with USB A to C cable
I thought they didn't work initially, but they only charge the 18650 with a USB A to C cable - doesn't work with a USB C PD charger. Just to confirm, you solder the red wire from the battery holder to the B+ pad on the board and the black wire to B-. Connect to a USB A socket and the red LED indicates charging. Nice cheap way to charge single 18650 cells e.g. for flashlights.
