Are you looking at this for a gift to a bourbon drinker? If so, you might not know much about the selection of bourbons represented and may be curious if your bourbon drinker will enjoy this assortment.I see Pappy on the list, is this just a bunch of hard-to-find bottles that will frustrate my bourbon drinker? Nope! While there are a decent number of allocated bottles here, there are also budget bourbons. These range from $15 bottles to $3000+ bottles. There are a bunch on here in the $30-$80 range and many are very popular and readily available.Is it too easy, will they immediately scratch off every bottle making this disappointing? Absolutely not! There are so extremely rare bottles up here like the Pappy. There are some more obscure/regional choices too, like Burning Chair and Mic Drop. Honestly, if somebody is the kind of person to have tried ALL of these, the will proudly scratch them all off and have fun thinking of each as they do.Honestly, it's a fun list. I don't agree with all of the choices. Nobody will. I do like that they went very standard/base offerings on some, like baseline Woodford, Blanton's, Maker's, etc. and then went specific on some like the Master's Keep, Confiscated and Rose Cask on the Penelope. Even the bottles on here I don't like (looking at you Hudson Baby) there are some nice surprises, like they picked Dareringer over Cavehill. Also, there the inevitable discussions like "They put Stillhouse on here but no Weller anything?" which are always good conversation starters. All in all, again, it's probably not going to be anybody's personal "Top 50" list, but it is a good list for gift giving! Hope this helps.

Got this for a gift for a friend who loves bourbons. I expected it to be like a giant scratch off lottery ticket, and that’s pretty much what it is, so I’m pretty happy with it. Find the bourbons you’ve tried, scratch off the top and get a nice photo underneath of the bottle. I picked out 15 or so that I’ve had with a quick scan through it I would imagine he’ll have quite a lot more.The paper is very nice and the printing is lovely as well, and I thought it was great it arrived in a sturdy tube and protective paper included to keep the surfaces from rubbing against each other. My friend runs a sign shop so I know he’s going to love the concept and turn himself inside out trying to figure out how to make one. In the meantime I’m pretty sure this gift will score some points.

I got this for my whiskey loving husband for Christmas and I can’t wait to give it to him. It comes in a nice gift-able box which was a huge plus. There is a piece of paper tissue on top of the poster so you won’t accidentally scratch off any whiskeys.I love the variety of whiskey they have on this, they even have pappy van winkle, my husband and uncle talk about this one all the time. They have one bottle and said it was too expensive to ever buy another so they will take pride scratching that one off.I plan on giving it to him like this and seeing if he wants it framed or left as is.
