Bought to replace an HP colour inkjet printer. But I really didnt need the colour. Fed up with really pricey ink cartridges. Cartridges gumming up in hot weather so they had to be replaced and waste lots of ink on cleaning the jets.Decided I wanted a reliable B&W printer that would not need constant servicing. Happy to pay a few pence for colour prints if really needed at local print company.Overall, I am delighted with this model. Easy to set up and connect to network and phone. This printer is excellent. Well worth the money. Im still on the "trial" toner that came with the machine over a year ago. No gumming up. No cleaning of the jets. Prints two sided. Scans as well. No need for fax these days . About to start scanning old documents to save them digitally. The document feeder is going to make life very easy to do that even with 2 sided documents.Yes, new OEM toner cartridge will be expensive, but for my usage, It will cost me ess than the teeny cartridges of ink on the HP.

This is a review of the DCP-L2665DW model. This device was unboxed and up and running within minutes. We chose WiFi and it was easy and quick for our Macs to join our local network. The first page printed was perfect. We tested scanning and the image was first class.If you have a Mac, remember to delete your old printer (if you have one) and add a new printer via System Settings.One point to note: although this model supports double-sided printing, it does not support the scanning of double-sided documents. At least we can't see how to do that. Multiple pages for scanning can be fed into the ADF, but only one side will be scanned. This isn't a defect, more a design limitation – if you must have double-sided scanning look at a more expensive model.The printer downloaded a firmware update after installation.In summary, we have no complaints and are happy customers.

I have waited a good long time to leave a review so that any problems could crop up.Overall I am delighted with this MFD which offers automatic 2-sided printing and scanning, plus flat-bed option for scanning and copying. Automatic 2-sided scanning was a priority for me so that I could keep records electronically with a minimum of effort and time. I find that my scanned documents are often wonky, despite taking care to align paper correctly in the feeder, and activating the auto de-skew option. However, since the scans are for my own reference, this hasn't been a deal-breaker for me.Eco printing options meant that that the starter toner lasted me many months. Increasing the print quality gives excellent results. My one real gripe has been my device's failure to recognise a genuine Brother replacement toner cartridge. On the plus side, when I contacted Brother for support, the response was timely and gave me a practical solution- which was to ignore the error messages. It is annoying that I receive notification that I am out of ink every time I print and there is no fix for this. It also means that I won't be alerted when my toner genuinely is getting low.I found the various software that accompanied the printer confusing. There were multiple ways to manage printing, scanning and copying and no obvious way to see which would be most appropriate. It took me several months to figure out the best way for me and how to maintain my chosen default settings. I have had occasional difficulties with printing from my phone or tablet, but this generally works well.I have not found the online instructions very user friendly. However, the great support response from Brother compensates for this. After a little over 12 months, I am satisfied with my purchase. At the time of purchase, this was the only device on the market that met all my requirements without breaking the bank. It isn't perfect, but it has helped with my productivity and I wouldn't be without it.

Rundum zufrieden mit diesem tollen Einkauf. Naturgemäß verpackt Amazon nichts.....es kam einfach nur der Drucker mit einem Paketaufkleber auf der originalen Verpackung. Warum sollte das auch bruchsicher verpackt werden?

Nie würde ich mir einen anderen drucker, als von brother kaufen. Leider kann der hier nur eingeschränkt doppelseitig drucken. Der Rest ist top.

La sto usando da meno di un mese per cui la valutazione è solo parziale. E' molto robusta, facilissima da istallare perché non necessita di scaricare driver: sia windows dal 7 in poi sia Android rilevano automaticamente la tipologia di stampante e i driver necessari per eseguire le stampe. Per impostarla in modalità WIFI si possono scegliere più modalità. Io l'ho fatto in modalità manuale, cioè direttamente dal display dove nella sezione RETE si presenta la SSID (il nome della rete WIFI di casa) e poi si può immettere la password di rete se l'avete impostata. E' silenziosissima, rapida e la qualità di stampa può essere preimpostata fino a livelli alti. E' già dotata di un toner per 700 fogli di stampa e in caso di esaurimento, ho visto versioni di toner originali a circa 20 € per 1200 fogli. In sintesi, per un uso domestico e per stampe in B/N è eccellente. La Brother è una marca rinomata per cui sono certo che fra qualche anno sarà ancora perfettamente in uso.
