Delayed in purchasing as I did not think it would work for me. How wrong was I.
It works for me, benefits felt after first use and only got better with further use. Only negative was in information not supplied giving details re Modes.

This is NOT a REVITIVE circulation Booster!
First, I don't think they should be using the brand name REVITIVE in the title, this cheap gadget is a totally different thing, Revivite is TENS, this is EMS, and there is over £200 difference in price! just to clarify incase you think you are getting the same gadget that is currently being advocated by Ian Botham! But I do find it amazing, thirty years ago, I was starting my journey into being a holistic therapist and spent thousands on various pieces of fancy equipment and many courses, TENS and EMS were there, but, the equipment was expensive then, and not mass produced in China. This type of flatbed EMS massager, well you can now pick them up for as low as £10. Amazing. Suffice to say, if you get one that works okay (they are cheap and cheerful so can't expect them to last for a long time), then enjoy it while it lasts. You would pay between £20-100 for a body massage depending on where you live in the country, or you could sit down with your coffee and book and have 20 minutes with one of these. On a lazy day when I haven't been out for a walk, or I've sat at the PC too long, I use one of these gadgets during a coffee break. With experimentation you'll find a mode and intensity you like, just start low, as the high intensity EMS can be a bit of a 'shock' ! Read the instructions.... some people must not use these. The instructions are not very well translated in places. When you choose a mode, you then adjust the intensity, and this happens each time you change to a different mode, as it doesn't remember the intensity level. At intensity, level one - I couldn't feel anything, started to feel it at Level 3, and at 6, well, didn't need to go higher. So I got one that works okay, hope it continues to do so... (I have read quite a few reviews from people who have bought duds) at time of review it was £19.

Cheap way into seeing whether EMS massage works for your feet
This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine programme, however this in no way influences my review, which is intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchasers. As another reviewer has noted, this device is an EMS device intended to stimulate muscles and associated bloodflow, not a TENS device for pain relief. My wife has been suffering with heel pain recently which is similar to, but not quite the same as, plantar fasciitis. In addition to massaging her feet to relieve the discomfort, and using an ultrasonic wand, we thought it would be worth trying out one of these EMS massagers as she could just place her feet on it while sitting on a chair and getting on with other things. The first thing to note is that the instructions that come with the device are quite poor, and being a Chinese product they are written in broken English. This means that a bit of common sense (and some trial and error!) is needed in order to use all of the massagers functions and getting it working exactly as you want. You place your bare feet on the pad, and then select the preferred mode and intensity. As you would expect, it is strongly recommended to start with the lowest setting and gradually work up until you find the desired intensity of stimulation. If it is painful then you should stop immediately. My wife said that the tingling sensation that you feel when the device is operating isn't at all unpleasant, and the pre-set 15 or 30 minute timer passed really quickly. Her foot pain is definitely better, but whether that is down to this device or more likely a combination of the EMS stimulation, foot massage and ultrasonic treatment is impossible to say. At such a low price you have nothing to lose if you suffer with foot pain, so give it a go to see whether it works for you.

Works well
My mam loves this. It was a little difficult to get working initially due to the poor instructions but once you realise what to do, it works very well. What i didn’t realise initially was that it only works if you have skin contracting it, so trying to set it without that doesn’t work.

Shoddy and probably dangerous
Arriving as it does without anything approaching clear and legible English language instruction, you’re forced to interpret what phrases such as “when lamp comes to dawn” means and there is no explanation of how to change mode. Also I got a mild shock the first time I used it so there’s that too.

Very hard to work out how to use this, not very practical
While it was good that the removable controller charged up and then operated the foot mat when you attached it.The actual operation was poor, it was really hard to change settings and to work out what you should be pressing. The supplied manual was of little help. When you did get it working it definitely sent unusual sensations through your feet and up your legs. On some levels it was too much sensation, so because it was such pot luck what settings you got, this was really a draw back.I think a remote to ooerate it while you are stood on it would improve this foot mat.

OK but I've had better
This is not the first EMS foot massager I have tried, and compared to my original one, I was a bit disappointed with this one.To begin with, this massager is around 40% more expensive than my original one, so I think it is overpriced compared to others on the market.Like others, you can change the mode, which basically just changes the pattern of the electrical pulses. However, there is no indication what each of the modes is for. For example, on my previous one, the mode states 'massage', 'knead' 'acupuncture' etc so you get an idea of what to expect from the pulses. But this model doesn't, nor does it state in the instructions what each mode is suitable for.Other than that, it works just like my previous EMS massager. But if I had to choose a favourite, unfortunately this wouldn't be it as I think there are better versions out there for less money.
