Works with ATT/TMB/Verizon. Quite extensive In Features - Failover device perfection!
Originally ordered Netgear LTE - limited in options. Would not work with subsidiary mobile services.Returned for this unit (SmartSim) and need not to do anything but plug in SIM , turn on and immediately works like a charm. Can confirm testing and working: ATT / TMB / Verizon / Spectrum / Google / Cox - Mobile Services. It is quite loaded for options, failover device easy setup and YES does work and kick in.Using for alarm system. So far so good.Devices uses a FULL size SIM card, if you do not have one, there is an adapter included you can use from the SMARTSIM card included. Does not have to be costly to have some internet backup.

Product Junk Support for product is terrible
I would not recommend this product or company ever. Suppose to be lifetime warranty and support. The only means of support is by email. Just a lousy product and support is worse. I am requesting a full refund immediately. Don’t buy this product. If I could give negative stars this product and company would get -5 stars!!

Slow but works
Comes with a prepaid SIM that you can buy data for in preset buckets or subscribe to a recurring plan. I had a Google Fi SIM and tried it in this device and it connected right away without needing to configure anything. I also went into the web based settings and updated the APN info to match what Google suggested and reconnected, it still worked fine. WiFi settings were easy to adjust also, but it only support 2.4Ghz wireless. It shows to have a good strong signal, but my speed tests were getting sub-10Mbps downloads and 1-2Mbps uploads. The same SIM in a different broadband router gets 20-30Mbps down and 5-10Mbps up on average, located in the same spot.It has a built-in battery and will stay powered on if the power goes out or is interrupted. It also has ethernet connections which can be used for local network connections, or WAN for primary and cellular failover.

Works perfectly with Google Fi!
I ordered this on a whim because the price point for an unlocked LTE router with detachable external antennas was hard to pass up. I installed a data only SIM and it connected automatically. I still have some configuration and other settings I'll be doing but the initial setup was quick and easy. Very satisfied with my purchase.

It does work on Verizon network
The signal isn't as strong as I'd hoped it would be. I need an extender now to make all my cameras work.

Cool wifi modem!
Please note that I am scoring this based on the wired use only as I don't have a wireless SIM card and don't need to buy one. That being said, this worked great to add wifi to an existing modem. I used the included cable to connect it to a modem I had and it was up and running quickly. I went to the farthest corner of the house to see how the connection was and it was the fastest speed test I've ever seen in that part of the house. So for that purpose it is great. One other thing of note, it has a built in battery for portable use. Once it was charged up I unplugged it and let it run all night and it was still going strong the next day. By all accounts it should work great with a SIM card in portable mode because it's high quality and seems to work well.

Cool little for when you want to cheat and bring the intermet to the camping trip.
The interface was really easy to set up. I LOVE The option to pop in your own sim card and voila install data plan. It's nothing compared to what you get at home... but keep it mind, the performance you see on this is not the box. Its the 4g LTE service area. If you are in a rural area, you can expect fewer towers in your area which means a greater distance between them and that is going to hinder your performance.

Not good service
I was frustrated during setting this up thinking I was doing something wrong. However, I set it up correctly, the issue was poor service and that is why my devices had trouble connecting and running. I'm canceling and sending back.
