"So, What Do You Eat?": A Practical Guide to Healthy Animal-free Nutrition and Easy Family Meals

No nonsense information well presented.
This is aimed at the vegan community, however as a non vegan or even vegetarian I saw this book at a friends house and purchased it for my wife. It has a really great presentation style and easy to understand approach to the subject of what foods contain, proteins, vitamins, minerals and fatty acids etc, how they affect your health and additionally many, many menus also. These menus could be used with non vegan foods to compliment them such as chicken for example. Excellent book.Liz Cook also produces wall charts which are also excellent, we have the Vitamins and Minerals chart. It will not turn me into a vegan but it has made me think about my food intake.

Great recipe book
I bought the book and the chart, really informative and the recipes are really nice. The spinach and lentil hot pot is delicious and very nutritious. I make lots of recipes from this book, my daughter who is 18 months and also vegan loves a lot of the recipes. Even my husband who is not the greatest at eating his 5 a day loves the spinach and lentil hotpot, I have to make extra! Not made all the recipes yet, though everything has been really nice. Great as Liz also lets you know what freezes well. The chart is also great as at a glance its nice to know what vitamins, minerals and a balanced diet we are eating. Got a few vegan books and this one so far is my favourite :-)

Fantastic selection of easy to follow recipes
I’ve already used this recipe book more than any other I have ever purchased and I only bought it a few weeks ago.The recipes are easy to follow and delicious. I’m trying to incorporate more plant based meals into our diet. The whole family have loved everything I’ve made.

Some good recipes
A good book for basic recipes, nice and easy to follow with easy to access ingredients. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that some of the recipes use tinned beans and tomatoes although these are easily substituted with dried beans and fresh tomatoes. The sweet recipes also rely on margarine and sugar, I would have liked some clean eating sweet recipes instead.

Easy, no-nonsense vegan recipes
I love this book - it's the second time I've bought a copy as I sadly lost my previous one to another household. The recipes are lovely and simple, the illustrations are really cute and you get the excellent chart at the back which gives advice on what vitamins etc you need and where to get them from. I recommend this book to anyone who's exploring veganism/vegetarianism but finds the modern blogs overwhelming. These recipes don't use any fancy or hard to find ingredients - just proper, easy homecooking which is also cruelty free!

Just what I'd been looking for
This book is truly fantastic for those wanting to introduce their families (particularly those with young children - or a non adventurous meat eating partner!) to more vegan recipes. I have many vegan cookbooks but some of them are too experimental or far removed from traditional family dishes for my one year old and five year old to be able to identify and want to try. Also great for those new to vegan foods who want to try and cook vegan versions of their favorite dishes. As this book has been around for a while it doesn't contain any fancy ingredients that are often expensive and you have to hunt for. Love the beautiful illustrations too. Cant wait to try the chocolate cake!

Fantastic
The recipes in this book are fantastic and really easy to make.It includes all the nutritional advice you need to become vegan and also has a little copy of the nutrition wall chart on the back of the book. The illustrations are really cute and I like the fact that it is written in the ladies handwriting.I also like the fact that the pages are made from a shiny card like substance which means it is perfect for cooking in the kitchen and the fact it is ring bound is also perfect for this reason.
