My husband likes maps so I am working them into my decor. This is a great deal on a nicely detailed, vintage map which is really a work of art. No framing or matting, just hang it from a nail or tack. It includes archaic names of countries, etc., not all of which are readable even with a magnifying glass. If you want a more readable version go with the larger size. That said, this is a great find for the price.

I’ve wanted an “old world map” forever. I tried a few online attempts before this one and either colors were nowhere close to what I thought or they used a “brass” accent that was too much and ended up looking gaudy. About to give up, Amazon offered this in similar options.. I hadn’t even thought about a tapestry style.. I LOVE it. To me the colors are muted just right for my cabin’s earthy colors and since it rolls up, shipping costs were probably much less than same-sized frame so the price was reasonable to me. I recommend.

The media could not be loaded. As another review mentioned, you cannot read the fine print which is disappointing and people should be aware of that going into this purchase. It may be due to the material but I thought and hoped that it would be informational but it's not due to being unreadable. Also, it may be unavoidable but the way that it's packaged it has creases all up and down it, hopefully that will go away with time. Since you can't read it, it should be worth more like $20 or less in my opinion. I bought it to cover up a electric panel so for that reason it gets the job done and looks good enough.
