Brought as a present, worked well, its light for little hands and usb charged, little girl loved it.

I like this educational talking flashcard reader in a lovely dinosaur shape.It comes with two boxes of cards, a manual and charging cable. After the child understands the concept of placing the card into the reader the right way they will enjoy it (I sit with our little one and give the card the way it is meant to slot in to make it easier for them to use otherwise we end up having bent cards).There are a lot of categories within the cards so a diverse range of words to learn and each card shows an image of the word. The card reader has a single sound button but I wish the initial sound was not so loud when it turned on. There is also a replay button to repeat the word which is useful and frequently used.There are cards which have American words but I do not use them and so are easily ignored.Overall a nice way to teach your child new words and the child can play independently with it once they are used to the way the card is slotted in. They definitely pick up new words quickly with these electronic flash card readers so it is worth purchasing.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a nice toy for a younger child, aged 3 or under. The toy is brightly coloured and a fun design. There’s lots of cards to choose from and the cards are reversible. The voice is clear and the words are pronounced properly. It comes with a charger which is great as you don’t need to faff around with batteries, but I started using it straight out of the box without charging it first so it can be used straight away for a while. The volume is very loud and you can’t adjust it. Overall it’s a nice toy maybe abit on the pricier side. Comes nicely packaged so would make a lovely gift aswell.

I like this, but there are a few things wrong with it.- The cards are flimsy and given the targeted age group you will have losses.- The card slot is quite awkward for little ones and the barcode needs to go in a certain way for it to work.- The volume and power buttons are on the front, so your wee one will probably turn the volume up and down, along with on and off a million times.- There is a fair few cards that will not make sense to a brittish child like, 'Water Cart' 'Durian Fruit' 'Egg Plant' for a few and some American English to thrown in to boot.The upsides is, my toddler does like it and wants to use it. The appearance of the toy appeals and the battery is lasting a long time between charges. There are absolutely tonnes of cards so I wouldn't worry about losses and you can iron out any bent ones (this will happen)It's easy enough to use with little need for supervision and makes learning fun.

This fun early learning flash card reader comes presented in a sturdy colourful cardboard box.Included in the box is a little friendly green dinosaur card reader which has eyes, nose, mouth and a small tail and also has a yellow spiked back, there are also 2 boxes containing 112 different coloured double sided cards so in total 224 pictures and words, there is also a USB charging cable and some instructions.The flash cards have various topics such as animals, fruits, colours etc, they have pictures and the corresponding words.The card reader is very easy to use , you just turn the machine on and chose a card to put in the slot and you will see the picture framed in the space and the reader will say the word and makes a noise if it needs one so for instance the picture of a cat will say cat and make a meowing sound.One of the great things about this card reader is that it is rechargeable so no need to keep buying batteries, it is also light and portable.This would make a great present for a little boy aged 2+ there is also a pink one available that would suit little girls but of course either colour can be used for either boys or girls. Ordered item early, didn't check till given as a birthday present. It was left to charge overnight but didn't light up or show any signs of working after an 8 hour charge. Am hoping to get a refund but the return window has closed apparently?
