Mutt Tools Mini Hacksaw for Metal Cutting Bimetal Blade Ergonomic Grip

It works very well

I was looking for a small hacksaw to get in tight spaces. I believe this will work perfectly. Haven’t used it yet. But seems to be made of good quality.

I had a corroded nut that seized on a bolt that mounted the toilet. Wasn't sure this saw was gonna be able to handle that metal at first. Pleasantly surprised how well it cut through. It took a whole blade but it actually cut through it. I think I'd use an electric one next, I bet it would be worth not sitting there scraping knuckles on the floor for a while. But at a budget this thing really worked. 5 star value for money, 5 star size, 3 star durability, 5 star ease of use, 2 star work involved to cut.

I used this to saw the severely rusted bolts to remove a toilet seat. It worked great once I got going with it. The blade was definitely strong enough and wouldn't have taken me as long as it did but the strength in my arms wasn't as good as it could be. Liked that the blade was flexible enough to get the angle I needed in the tight space. So glad I have this in my tool chest!!My question: I turned the blade around to get to the new side on the second bolt....is the hole in the blade supposed to line up and be anchored by one of the screws in the handle....the screw on mine was not long enough to go through the hole in the blade...I made it all work anyway but just thought that's what the screws were there for.

I just love this little mini hacksaw. I use it for my crafts and it makes it very, very easy. I was so surprised to find such a cute little hacksaw. Great job.

It did what I wanted it to do - cut rebar.I only had two pieces to cut and it did the job - took a bit but in fairness the metal was at an awkward angle. I gave 4 stars in stead of 5 because the bad itself bent a bit and may not hold up for bigger jobs. But the handle on top was helpful to control the blade.

Despite the product stating it comes with a blade for metal, the blade went dull within a few seconds.Also, this hacksaw doesn’t put the blade into reasonable tension, and this causes the blade to bend a lot while you’re using it, making it super ineffective.Only buy it if you’re going to use it for very thin and soft material, like thin pieces of wood. Also, an actual hacksaw would be more versatile than a mini, allowing you to use on different materials of different sizes by changing the blade.

I bought this saw to cut through frozen package bacon. It did a great job and made it alot easer than using a knife or scissors!

THIS IS SO GOOD. I needed to cut a notch out of the handle that opens an aluminum window so an inset blind could be installed. This hand saw sliced through it LIKE BUTTER. I would highly recommend this!
