This item is painted black if you like that, but it really didn't matter to me. Its been in my vehicle for over 6 months now and its working great, my ac blows ice cold. Its almost impossible to get a picture of this once its installed because its in front of the radiator,...you can see the top of it between the radiator and the cars frame on the photo on the right you can also see it behind the transmission cooler in the left photo.I tried, I forgot to take a picture before I installed it. UPDATE..5/4/21.. this item was actually considerably more difficult to install than the UAC version also sold for less on Amazon..I wouldn't purchase this item again, & would return to the UAC brand. Spectra Premium is a Canadian company that after multiple attempts to resolve an issue with them......just have the worst customer service of any company I've ever dealt with.
