Love my new setup!
The media could not be loaded. At first I was a little disappointed to be honest - the lack of feet at the bottom was a bummer, and the manual barely included any info for a noob like myself. After much googling, I was able to set up my own custom keyboard so here are my tips for others in a similar position!:- goes without saying - this is not a complete kit, so buy your own switches. I chose to get some Gateron Milky Yellow Pros- for keycaps, as others have mentioned, the space on the bottom row is weird, so make sure whatever set of key caps you order has enough extra keys to account for narrower CTRL/ALT keys etc.- to set it up the first time, use an online key tester to figure out the position of all the keys and then match that back to your key caps- if you are into it, use the VIA app on web browser and upload the JSON files from the gama Kay website into it to bring up the keyboard customizations. For Mac users - I use a MacBook, so I modified the ALT key to be the COMMAND key in my MacBook settings, and then I went into VIA and switched the ALT and COMMAND positions so that my command key is now in the exact place I’m used to on the MacBook. Absolute game changer for productivity as all my commonly used shortcuts in Adobe are command based. The RGB is excellent, I played around with different key caps and it looks great with both clear and opaque keycaps. For the first time in my life, I love using a keyboard!

Love the look and feel. Absolutely amazing.
The media could not be loaded. The transparent one with clear key caps looks incredible. I added some Ice King switches and it sounds and feels great too. Clear transparent bliss. The quality is good but for some people that don't like keyboards that have a lot of give it might not be for you. It's less stiff and more bendy. It's got about a light to medium weight to it which is nice but doesn't feel cheap. I've had no issues with connectivity so far, and it fit with every key cap set I wanted to possibly put with it.

Bargain, customizable exploded 75% keyboard with VIA/VIAL support.
I wanted to try out a 75% keyboard as an alternative to a the TKL boards I have been using. And while I was looking at Keychron V1, I wound up purchasing this instead. I've had some experience with Gamakay switches, and (like Gamakay switches) expected this to be better than the price indicated. It is.The black case is plastic and has some flex, but you're probably not going to be trying to twist the keyboard when it's on your desk. It ships with a gasket mounted PC plate and a spare aluminum plate that can also be gasket mounted. Or you can top mount the plate if that's your thing. The knob is a friction fit 6mm D-shaft so you can replace it with many similar knobs. It ships in wireless mode. To switch to USB, plug it in, hold FN and press 5. Annoyingly you have to do that every time you want to switch back to wired connection after using it wirelessly. I haven't had any issues with the wireless connection, and there is a nice pocket on the back for the wireless receiver dongle.LED backlight is south facing, so you can use Cherry keycaps without interference issues and the backlight LEDs are borderline painful at full brightness. I don't hear any buzzing when the brightness is turned down. Interestingly while adjusting brightness, the keyboard reduces LED saturation for a moment, then brings it back to where you expect. The PC plate is nicely frosted to help LED diffusion, and the plate foam is white to assist with that as well.Stabilizers are screw in, PCB mounted and appear to be made from clear nylon. They were lightly lubed with only the spacebar stabilizers making some noise that made me add some additional lube to them.VIA and VIAL work well once you sideload the .JSON from Gamakay's website. If you're using VIA 3.x, make sure you enable "Use V2 Definitions" before loading the .JSON.The Good:- Bargain priced for what you get.- VIA and VIAL support.- 2 different plates and the option to gasket or top mount.- Included stabilizers are perfectly adequate.- Knob.- Wireless dongle storage in keyboard.- LED diffusion. The Bad:- Some case flex.- Annoying keystroke to change back to USB after wireless mode. But they DO indicate that you should press 5 when holding FN.The Meh:- Some of the RGB modes are ... Disco-riffic.- South facing LEDs.

A Great Deal, Not a Great Keyboard.
Cute Little Keyboard. On amazon, in this price-range, this is the ONLY keyboard PCB mount stabs, which is sadly a rarity in the cheaper end of the custom keyboard spectrum. The stabs sound pretty great out of box, and the knob has a satisfying "Thunk" to it. My only real complaints comes to the case material, which is a pretty creaky cheap plastic, and the broken VIA support. Overall a great value, just don't expect too-too much out of it.

Terrific value keyboard
For the price, I'm just not sure this one can be beat. It has excellent customization options that you won't easily find at this price point. The cons? The keyboard goes to sleep so the wireless connection can get a little messed up due to that. Especially the Bluetooth. I probably won't use it wireless personally. That's not a deal breaker for me though. Also, it's not easy to get it set up with VIA. I guess you need to use the web app and side load the JSON file from their website, but I actually haven't done this yet. The RGB isn't individually addressable, at least not out of the box...I believe you can flash firmware to make it so, but I haven't done it yet and there's even less instruction for this.So I wouldn't consider this a very noob friendly board for its software/firmware customization. For its physical customization it's great and easy to mod.The sound out of the box with the gasket mounted polycarbonate plate makes it very silent if you put some good silent switches in it. I absolutely love how quiet it is. Though it can be as clacky or thocky as you want. Very versatile. Nice way to get into custom keyboards.Do note you'll likely be spending way more on switches and keycaps.
