I made plant ID spikes labels that sit in soil out of it 6 months ago and they are perfect today, they wash up really good, the laser ink stays perfect in bright sunlight so I think it would hold up as a playing card if laser printed. Mores sanitary than reg card cause you could actually wash them. I think this paper weight would be good not sure on how they would shuffle. **Q: How much this paper weights in terms of lb. and g/m2?** A: I don’t know the answer to this. However, I use the 10 mil paper a lot and I often get it mixed up with some 80 lb cover. If I get the two mixed up, I have to look closely at the color to tell them apart. The TerraSlate paper is a little darker. **Q: Can this be used with alcohol inks?** A: Sorry. Laser printers and copy machine use only. Alcohol inks will not fuse to the paper like laser and copier toner **Q: It can be use to make label clothing tags? To sew it.** A: Yes, it can but we might recommend using the 4 Mil or 8 Mil option as it is lighter and thinner which may work better for clothing tags. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Very poor performance with a Xerox WC6505DN colour laser printer *by D***. on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 February 2018* I know everyone, with the exception of the person using an injet, gives this paper 5 stars, but I can't say that it works well for me. My printer is a true Postscript printer - not as emulation. I only ever buy the Xerox inks. The has 4 cartridges.I wanted a large black background on a label to go onto a black case. The black prints as jet black on normal paper, but comes out as a sort of chocolate brown on this paper. What I also notice is that sometimes there are horizontal streaks across the printed image, perhaps 10 mm long and 2 mm high. These seem to be inconsistent. If I print out 10 labels on a page, about a third are free of streaks, another third have minor imperfections, and the other third more major imperfections.I fed the paper in the manual tray, as it is quite thick. One can select whether the try contains plain paper, light card, heavy card, several others, and "special". Well I have tried plain paper, light card, heavy card and special, but all give poor results.The laser printer was purchased in 2012, so is 6 years old. I can only assume there's some incompatibility problem, because it certainly does not work well with my laser printer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Waterproof cardstock that works. *by V***S on Reviewed in the United States on 12 February 2022* I use this to make waterproof checklists and signs. I print it with my HP color laser printer and it prints without melting or any issues like that. It really works. It is made of plastic fibers, so it's waterproof. It's more tear-resistant than paper or card stock, but, if it begins to tear, it can tear the rest of the way pretty easily.
