LG TONE PRO HBS-780 Wireless Stereo Headset - Blue (Renewed)

I've been a loyal customer of LG BT headsets for years, and each new model number has poorer quality and weaker materials. The wires are too thin to hold the earpiece for normal daily use, the magnets do not hold the earpiece in the protective slot at all, and the sound quality continues to decline with each new generation. Every set I've purchased has eventually stopped working on one side, then the other, because the wires are not secure. The only reason this review is not a 1 star is that I purchased this set renewed, so the low cost offset the poor quality. I am giving up on LG and turning to other brands.

I've bought two of these, the 1st lasted a little over two years! That's with me using 12 hours a day 5-6 days a week at work. The 2nd only lasted about 5 months. I can't complain because of the durability of the 1st. It's a good deal on a good set of headphones. Like anything thats refurbished, it's a toss of the dice.

Bought these to upgrade from my original HBS-700 headphones, which were phenomenal. Sadly, the ear bud on those broke.These were received from the seller as advertised and work just fine. The seller did a great job on getting them to me and they were packages very well. Call quality is good and there are some some upgraded features as compared to my previous pair. That said, the sound quality is much worse. It's clear, but the bass is nonexistent. Not sure if I got a bad pair or that's just the design, but it bothers me quite a bit. I will likely keep these but will probably replace them soon want give them to my wife who has less of a distinguishing ear.

My Bluetooth headset works as described. Everyone can hear me know. My only complaint is that the ear piece comes out of my ear. Feels a bigger than my old LG 760 headset ear plugs. And if you want these, to listen for music, the bass is not that great.

Have owned 2 sets of these and 2 sets of the 760’s. They were all great in the beginning until a few months in when one side would just stop working. Within 6 months both sides have stopped. With the 760’s you would send them to Amazon and they would send you a new pair so I was fine if they had an issue because they honored their warranty. Now with the 780’s When they stopped working I contacted the warranty department and they said I need to contact LG. I contacted them and they said I need to mail them in, wait up to two weeks for them to decide if it was a manufacturer caused issue or not, and if they decided it wasn’t that I would be charged a fee because their tech had to look at it. I didn’t send them in because that’s horrible customer service and I will not be purchasing from them again.

My 2-week-old, bought brand new headphones of this same model were eaten by my son's dog. I didn't need extra plastic do-hickies to go on the end, and I didn't need anything to charge it with. Which is just as well, because the only thing that comes in this box is the refurbished headphones.They work perfectly. They are the same color. And most importantly, they came in 2 days, and (most importantly) I didn't have to tell my husband that the brand new $75 headphones he bought me were eaten. I consequently didn't have to bury a dog. Win-win.I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

One of the earphones works once in a while, I couldn't remember if I bought the warranty or not, so I just use with one ear plugged in.

This product was not very easy to use. The ear pieces did not stay in my ear very well and they had a hard time connecting to my phone. Once I could get everything set up though, it worked okay. You get what you pay for.
