This mower toy is pretty cute. It’s suitable for both a sturdy-walking toddler and older preschoolers who are into role playing and imaginary play. The popping feature isn’t nearly as annoying as I expected it to be, which makes it more fun to see my kids running around with it. It doesn’t seem sturdy enough to support a baby who is just learning to walk, unless you managed to weigh the base down a bit first. I was surprised that the assemble required a screwdriver, but it was easy enough to put together. The front wheels just pop on while the handle screws together. There are 4 stickers to apply as well to really enhance the lawn-mower look. I had to do this in secret though because if my kids saw this, they would instantly be trying to remove them if they knew they were stickers. The battery is already starting to die, which makes it so that you have to turn it off and back on again, which I don’t hate because it means there is less chance of accidentally triggering the buttons. The songs and sounds are cute, though my kids mainly just like to push the thing around - the younger one just enjoying the gross motor skill use and the older pretending to mow the invisible grass in our living room. I will likely bring this outdoors in the summer, though I imagine the buttons failing after it rains. All in all, it’s a cute toy that is suitable for a range of ages. Honestly, now that I’m thinking about it, even a crawler could get enjoyment out of this safely if you remove the handle and just have the rolling base with the buttons for them to play with.

As expected with all the V-Tech toys I've ordered over the years, the spin mower assembled within minutes and was ready for use. The build quality remains excellent, strong durable plastic that will last generations.

This is a cute little mower. It comes with the handle detached but it is very easy to put together and works right out of the box. I really like the colours and how you can see the blades rotate as you walk with it. The popper is cute too. It sings and talks about outdoor chores and safety. I really like it has a pull string just like a real lawn mower to get it started. It is also very durable and is holding up well to very rough play. This isn't a toy that a toddler can use as a walking assistant, it isn't meant to be leaned on. I think of this more as an indoor toy due to the electrics but it can also be used outdoors as long as it is protected from the elements. Overall it is a very cute toy!
