yummy and convenient
Well, other than those yummy breakfast smoothies you can put some in a freezer safe container and let it get almost all the way frozen and enjoy. But I MADE A CAKE: Here is the recipe:1box Super Moist™ White Cake Mix Or your choice, you could also use lemon, coconut, etc.3/4 cup mango puree2 tablespoons grated lime peel (I used lemon peel)3 egg whites (I used the whole egg)For the filling:tub (12 oz) Whipped Fluffy White Frosting (I used cream cheese frosting)Start with about 1/2 to 1 cup of the mango puree to taste and consistency you like.1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)The end product:Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans. Generously spray bottoms and sides of two 9-inch round cake pans with baking spray with flour. I used my long baking dishIn large bowl, beat cake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed until moistened, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Pour into pans.Bake and cool as directed on box for 9-inch round if this is what you chose. I used my ceramic baking dish and let it completely cool. Your mouth should be watering by now it smells so delicious and fresh.Once completely cooled, I put the icing (frosting) in a bowl beat it with a whip and slowly added the puree mixing well, I used about 1/2 Then I did add a handful of shredded coconut. Now spread evenly over your cake, make a pot of coffee and you have a very easy, unusual delicious cake.SIDE NOTE: pour the cake mixture into a pan and place in the oven. Mango puree in the place of oil often shortens the baking time required. Check your cake 10 minutes before the recommended cooking time by inserting a toothpick. If your cake mix calls for a 30-minute cooking time, check your cake at 20 minutes. If the toothpick comes out clean, cooking is complete. If the toothpick does not come out clean, check every 1 to 2 minutes until cooking is complete.ANOTHER NOTE: I substituted the water and oil for the puree. If the cake is too dry just add a little water at a time.Alphonso Mango PulpBright orange mangoes with incredibly rich & sweet flavor. Known as the King of Mangoes, it provides a smooth and creamy texture, perfect for desserts or made into juices and shakes with the characteristic sweetness that a mango can have, canned in India. You get three, yes three 30 oz cans. You can freeze or refrigerate the left overs but make another cake, a frosty or smoothie. Make sure it is placed in a cantainer with a lid. Do not just place the leftover in the can. This puree is so healthy for you: Mangoes are rich in Vitamin C, K, and Magnesium and not loaded with sugar, the sweetness is from the mango.I hope you like it as much as we have. I have saved two cans to make more cakes in the winter. This is a wonderfully different awesome product.

Flavorful!
This Ashoka, Canned Mango Pulp has a nice mango flavor. The ingredients are decent but it does contain added sugar which isn't great but it makes it sweet. This is great for serving on pancakes or making smoothies or even sorbet. The Value is Fair!

So Good!
Alphonso Mango Pulp (Sweetened) also contains sugar and citric acid (94% mango pulp). I can eat it directly from the can, it tastes so good. I mixed it with Greek yogurt, honey, a touch of cardamom powder, fresh vanilla, and a bit of freeze-dried strawberry powder (to help eliminate ice crystals) to make a mango-based frozen yogurt. The puree eliminates the work and mess of cutting and blending mango pieces and ensures a reliable mango flavor. I’ll make mango lassi with the leftover ingredients of the 30 oz. can since I have more than enough. I couldn’t be happier with the flavor, appearance, and consistency.

Thirteen bucks a can
Unfortunately, these cans of mango puree were poorly packed and arrived dented. You do get a lot of mango pulp/puree, but not sure it is worth thirteen bucks a can even if the cans are not dented. I used the product to make margaritas and martinis over the weekend. The rest of the can I opened was poured into ice cube tray and frozen for use in breakfast smoothies. The puree is very thick and sweet and is used in a lot of indian food recipes. It would probably work well as part of an injection when smoking a pork shoulder too. Will definitely try it for that.

This is really good, but it seems really sweet to me.
Ashoka Canned Mango Pulp, Premium Alphonso Mango Extract - Sweetened, Great for Making Shakes, Smoothies, Salads, and Baking, 30 Ounce (Pack of 3)First impressions: Huge cans of pureed mango. The cans are in great shape, no dents or anything. The labels are well printed in mostly english with good information.Installation/setup: Open can and eat or use in recipes. Reduce the amount of sugar in your recipe as this is sweetened.Final thoughts: This is really good, but it seems really sweet to me. I like it with my oatmeal in the morning, just a bit of milk or cream and this mango. This is really good but there is a whole lot in the can so be prepared for that. I used some zip lock bags and portioned it out to put in the freezer. Now I can just open a bag and add it to my hot oatmeal and breakfast is ready once I add a bit of milk. It’s a bit spendy but so are fresh or even frozen mangos. I like this and I’m glad I got it.⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

Sweet but soooo good
I made a wonderful mango ice cream with this. It is sooooo good. It is quite sweet though so I didn’t really need to add any additional sweetener or at least not very much. This is really expensive so it would be only purchased as a treat once in a while. Next I will probably make a pie or cake

Strong chemical smell, perhaps from damage to the can
My family loves mangos, both fresh mangos and smoothies made with fully ripened mangoes. I was looking forward to the Ashoka canned mango pulp to make smoothies when mangoes are not in season. However, when we opened the can, there was a strong chemical smell, quite different from the mango aroma we expected. Something might have happened to the product since the can was dented in several places.
