These do not fail once in though you may have a couple of broken tips during installation, depending on the strength of your walls. I use these for ceilings (when installing hooks for lights and plant pots) and for plasterboard walls.

Fittings break easy

Not sure what other reviewers are doing with these fixings but they worked perfectly for me, one tip is to pre drill a pilot hole equivalent to the barrel thickness and then the fixing will screw in easily and with less mess.

I did get this kit after reading the reviews.I am not very happy with the product. I have returned the item if I haven't used some bit from the kit. As you can see in the picture, the bottom bit has loose it's shape when I try to use it straight on the my hollow wall so I have to make a hole first to use it .

These are a godsend, my go to fixing, easy to use and holds a good weight.

So these aren’t the most well made of fixings and the lack of clear instructions could put most people off.You’re meant to first screw the large part firmly into the plasterboard wall. Then to attach your bracket/shelf etc etc you take the screw provided and screw this into the larger screw. This attaching screw is actually ‘self threading’. This means that the large screw doesn’t have a thread inside it rather the smaller screw bites into it and creates it’s own thread as you screw it in. Once you get that and maybe test it out on a scrap of board I think most people would be quite happy to use this.It didn’t suit my purpose as I have a tiled surface, but that was my fault not theirs.

En aluminium de mauvaise qualité. Pour qu'il rentre dans les plaques de plâtre je dois faire un trou au préalable avec une mèche de même taille et tourner tout doucement sinon ça se casse. Mauvais produit. Passer votre chemin.

Son malísimos, se me rompen al ponerlos en la pared y es blanda. Muy mala calidad.
