TheraICE Migraine Relief Cap PRO, Headache Hat Ice Pack Mask Cold Head Wrap

I wanted to write a review to spare the next buyer from ruining their migraine hat like I did. The hat has a smooth sleek fabric texture, a comfortable gel filling, and a slight snugness around the head when worn (that I found really enjoyable). It blocked out light well. When stored in the freezer and then placed on the head it was extremely cold. Even at room temperature it always feels a little cool to the touch, which I enjoyed. I slept like a baby with it on. Two important things: 1. If you're going to put it in a fridge or freezer make sure it is in a sealed bag. 2. It cannot be washed (other than spot treatment). The manufacturer does disclose this information, so I did not deduct rating points for this. I made the mistake of putting my hat in the freezer without a bag and even though my freezer is fairly clean every odor in the freezer leeched into the hat. It stinks. I tried to wear it anyways and the weird stale freezer smell then got onto my sheets as I napped on them. It was at this time I realized the hat is advertised as only being wipe-clean. You are not supposed to submerge it. I wiped it and the smell remained, so I then decided to risk hand-washing it in a wash basin. The hat seemed to be in good condition afterwards, but the smell remained. At this point I decided that the smell was too unbearable and distracting so I had nothing to lose by putting it in the washing machine (with cold water). The washing machine made the fabric lose it's tightness and made the gel filling become lumpy. And if that's not enough, I can still somehow smell the faintest note of the freezer. I'm not sure that it'll be usable in its current condition, but I will try. I liked the product in theory. It was very comfortable and it did help with headaches. For my own preferences though I would have preferred a product that was more durable and washable, especially something that's being placed against your skin that might collect oils, makeup remnants, and other dirt over time that you'd want to wash off.

I sometimes will get headaches on one side of my head, and many times it would last for a couple days. I heard about these caps and thought I would try it out since this has gotten great reviews. Well it def worked for me. Within 30 minutes my headache was gone. I will say that it is extremely cold once it gets out of the freezer but that only lasts a few minutes. I actually liked the extreme cold. The high coldness also lasted for about about 30 minutes, then it started to ease, which was fine for my needs.

I’ve used different eye masks usually the gel bead kind and they only last about 5 min and I like to sleep with them on so I wanted something that would last longer I went with others reviews because so many said it lasts a long time and that it’s very cold some said they had to leave it out a couple minutes just to be able to wear it and I completely agree but definitely not hating it I love that it’s extremely cold the compression is very comfortable it covers the temples which is something I was also looking for since the regular eye masks don’t cover anything it’s a comfortable thickness not to bulky didn’t take long at all to be completely cold in the freezer one review I was concerned about was some said it had a odor upon opening which it did once I put it in the freezer I didn’t smell it as much so I’m extremely satisfied I’ve been wearing it for about 15 min so far and it’s still cold I will be ordering another one for backup 🥰

I wish that the cold lasted longer. It is too cold most of the time to put it on as soon as you take it out of the freezer but by the time your head can stand it, it starts getting warm. I do like the shape of it and how it fits comfortably over your head and pulls over your eyes but keeps your nose out. It blocks a good majority of light. I have fallen asleep with it on.

If you have Fibromyalgia or migraines, you need this in your life! Seriously, this is the cap to buy. You wont regret it!

This is by far the best migraine ice cap that I’ve purchased. I’ve purchased from other brands before but found that this one keeps cooler longer and is very comfortable when wearing. I bought it in 2 different colors and they’re great quality, super cute (might as well look cute while dealing with a migraine), they stretch/conform to your head well, and are reliable. Definitely the best I’ve found so far!

I am not exaggerating when I say this, "every person on this planet needs one of these". Anytime someone in our household gets a headache, their go-to is this beauty sitting in our freezer. The size perfectly fits all our heads snuggly and the cold wipes away all our headaches. Trust me, GET ONE ASAP!

Migraine homies should definitely try this

Do not put it in the freezer, it is too cold and feels uncomfortable. Rather keep it in the refrigerator, as you can immediately wear it when you feel a headache coming on.

I tried almost anything I could think of and I can’t get rid of the smell, do not buy! The caps are very very smelly, almost smells like poop, very disgusting.
