It looks good, it has Matt finish, it has arrow mark to close lid properly with vent. It can go over gas range burner. It does come with separate lid cover with stand that can be used as shallow cast iron griddle. Pot is very heavy to handle and difficult too during heating stage. It should not be moved frequently over heating burner, all the adjustments to the pot and ingredients should be made at room temperature. Put the timer on for cooking and let the pot cool before taking it off the burner. Handle with utmost care. This is the only information available for this pot so far. Nothing can be said about heat distribution and cleaning. The pot is not yet used for cooking purposes.

bigger than i thought. holds plenty. due to the weight it is better to use outside

This is such a great product and we can't wait to use it more for campfire baking as well.The legs allowed it to stand above the coals so the bottom of the food didn’t burn, and the lipped lid allowed for coals to be easily stacked on top. The lid also sealed really well which allowed for even cooking. This worked perfectly for camping!

It small but i like it it like 8 oz really small for one person i think i can make babay portion in this pot.

I used a regular 5 quart pot for soups and beans my entire life (I'm now 63) but this pot's evenly distributed heat makes everything delicious!!!
