I already have this sock aid but ordered another because my husband is useing the original one to put compression socks on , he was worried it would break because compression socks are really hard to put on . It has proved him wrong because it’s super strong and it’s still in one piece! It’s the best one to use , it doesn’t slip as you use it .

I have advanced AVN and waiting for hip replacements. Putting socks on is very painful and usually requires asking for assistance. This enables me to put my socks on effortlessly and has given me back a little bit of independence. I read the reviews about the strap not lasting time will tell but looks relatively easy to fix if it ever came away. So far very impressed, great bit of kit and for people with wide feet feet much more comfortable than I imaging the narrow hard plastic alternatives are.

I have to agree with some of the comments around the strap joints feeling a little flimsy. HOWEVER, this is by far the best sock aid I have had and used to date. Much superior to the plastic versions. For both putting the sock onto the aid, then for slipping your foot in a sliding the aid and sock over your foot, ankle and lower calf. I have arthritis in both hips and knees, this aid is super for helping independence with the simple task of putting your socks on. Thank you..Soxon.

This item does exactly what it says and with comfort. I have tried a few of these 'help put your socks on' gadgets and this one is excellent. I have recently had a hip replacement so one leg is slightly swollen at the calf making it tender to touch. This material is comfortable on my legs and pulls my socks on smoothly. I would highly recommend it.

After having a hip dislocation I needed help to put my socks on and this product is brilliant - I can even put on leggings and tights with it.

I am finally able to put my socks on after years of not being able to thanks to this device. It absolutely takes a bit of finagling to figure out how best to use it for you and will probably vary depending on what your limitation is. Once I realised I needed to put the entire sock on almost the full length of the device instead of bundling it up like you would if you were putting on a sock by hand it made it tons easier to get on. Ribbons aren't super well secured, as in I can hear the stitching straining but so far it hasn't ripped and I've used it about 20 times over 2 months. So very happy to have this, wish I knew if it could be washed as it is fabric and having contact with feet regularly I imagine will eventually make it a bit gross but I worry washing it in the machine may break the interior supports so it may have to be a sink wash when it becomes unavoidable. If you think there's even a chance this could help you please buy it. I hesitated for over a year and I'm sure at least some of those months I could've used it successfully. If you can point your foot enough to get it in the slot and if you have enough arm strength to pull with tension then this may work for you.

Let's start with the positives. I have a size 15 foot (well, 2x size 15 feet!), and no other product has been able to be used, till now. This is also comfy to use with no sharp edges, risking a scratch or cut. I did manage, with some work, to get regular socks on. The negatives. It's a struggle. My legs are dead weights, and add lymphedema to the mix, it takes a LOT of maneuvering. Also, it doesn't work for sport socks or class 3 compression socks. Finally, I'm not sure how long the straps will remain attached as just sewn on. But, these are extreme use, I suppose you could say. Someone with less issues, with practice will find this very useful, I think.

I found this quite difficult and painful to use. I will use it as I have no alternative, but I thought it would be easier to use. My socks didn't come all the way up my leg but did go on my feet, perhaps I need more practice... not too impressed.

If you are in need of this tool it is the best on the market . Others I have tried scrape your legs. This one is so well padded and designed well . it works like no other I have tried

The Soxon is great for putting shorter socks on. Works easily and you don’t need to bend over.

Best sock aide ever. My 2nd one the first one lasted a couple of years.
