Really pleased with this item

What do you to to deter burglars? Even the most sophisticated systems have their limitations. I decided on this alarm as a simple and cheap answer. I've put several of these alarms throughout my house in the hope that the raucous noise they produce would repel an intruder. However, the alarm simply lifts off its fixing and there is a significant delay between detection and the alarm sounding, so a determined burglar could defeat the system without much difficulty. Overall I think this is a cheap and simple alarm and I would recommend it for low risk areas.

A replacement for my old shed alarm. Loud and easy to use. The only downside is a long delay from activation to alarm sounding

Okay, so why only 2 stars. 1. The remote is not waterproof, don't know about you but once my shed is open I tend to leave the keys hanging in the lock outside (remote is on the same keyring), not anymore - have to take everything in with me. Maybe not the alarms fault but someone should have thought about it. 2. Only one remote so if it goes wrong or missing you will be buying a complete new alarm. 3. Approximately 45 seconds on entry / exit before the alarm will sound - more than enough time for a woodby thief to grab some stuff and do a runner. Would have been useful on entry rather than just beeping once that maybe it could have beeped every 2 seconds, getting faster as it it reaches the 45 second limite - at least that way you know something is going to happen! 4. Alarm just lifts off the bracket, so again any woodby thief could just lift it off in the 45 seconds he has and then just remove the batteries or put his foot through it. When it goes off though it is loud, so this is what the 2 stars is for. Sorry Friedland but you must try harder................. Will do for now though until I can find something better!!

Works fine, no issues

Comes with mounting bracket, would have like the base of the alarm to have been flat so as to accommodate. free standing as it falls over unless supported, also the delay is around 30 seconds which on a personal note seems rather long, but all in all not bad.

The remote has a very flimsy tag which broke off.

I liked everything about it and there was nothing I did not like. Says it all I guess 🕵️‍♂️
