Inflatable Comfy Pet Collar Cone for Large Dogs, Recovery & Basic Use

Brilliant inflatable ring - my dog has a swollen ear and stent in it. She hates the lampshade type so I tried this and she seems to love it. She’s worn it straight off for 10 days now and seems to enjoy the comfort support when she sleeps. It’s protected the ear from scratching and nose diving. It fits comfortably and washes and drys well without losing shape. Very pleased with purchase. Thanks

Soooo much better than the cone of shame - for my dog, my walls and my legs!! Having read other reviews about being no good for paws I bought two as my dog has an infection on his front paw. This works really well and he cannot reach to lick his paw. I have attached the front one with a collar, to keep in place and the one at the rear stays in place behind. This method seems kinder and more comfortable for my dog and it allows him to eat with it on and go up the stairs, which he couldn't with a cone. I have not given 5 stars as the velcro fastening could be improved, one half is too long and the attaching strap is too short. Minor point and doesn't affect the function.

Bought this for my cat after an Opp to stop him scratching the wound . Now my cat won’t even wear a cat color so was worried as the color cone from the vets was awful and he hated it . He soon got used to his new color as it was much more comfortable than the cone from the vets . I would highly recommend this color , my cat made a recovery and the wound healed up within 2 weeks ,

A good, comfortable alternative to a plastic cone, and my pet could move around easily while wearing it. It does the job well initially. However, after around a year, it popped and struggled to stay inflated. Fine as a short-term solution, but don't expect it to last.

The standard plastic cone lasted 5 minutes on my dog before she forcibly ripped it off. This inflatable collar not only stayed on, but she was calm and co-operative when I took it off and put it back on again. She seemed to enjoy using it as a pillow to sleep on. It didn't get in the way of her walking around the way a collar did. However, it depends on where your dog's injury is as to whether this will help protect it. I bought this collar because she was spayed, and the collar was completely effective in stopped her reaching her abdomen. It would not be effective in stopping her reaching her paws, for instance. It was easy to inflate (just remember to bite the plastic bit - you have to squeeze it for the air to go in). It was easy to put on, and adjust the fit. The velcro didn't catch on her fur, and no part of it seemed to annoy her. It was easy to wash afterwards as well. Most importantly, my dog liked it and it stopped her licking her wound.

Had bad omens from the start with this thing. First Amazon Ligistics didn't deliver to my home. They said first off that the package had been delivered to my safe place. Lie No.1. I had been waiting since 8 stops away which took over 3 hrs. No van arrived. Kept being told it had been delivered. Then i got a pic which had a parcel half shoved through someone's letter box. This was sopposed to be proof. Lie No.2. It wasn't my letter box. Or front door. Or house. My 6 month old rottweiler had eye surgery & the cone bought from the vet he was wearing was severely damaged & dangerous, as there were sharp bits sticking out near his face. Obviously i needed something more comfortable whilst still protecting the wound so to speak. I "spoke" to a robot on Amazon still asking where my stuff is as i couldn't find a number to ring the currier-Amazon Logistics. Seething with sheer frustration i hung up on his robot ass! Then someone who lives up my street called with the package, my pup's inflatable ring to go round his neck & give him some comfort. The name & address was quite clear on the parcel so i have no idea why Amazon Logistics driver couldn't deliver to my address, ergo not causing me so much stress! So my pup has been wearing this collar for 4 days & nights. He hates it! Was a bit hard to blow up even though my partner pinched as advised. The pup snores when asleep because the collar rests against his throat. The pic the seller showed of a retriever sitting & snoozing comfily wearing this collar on a settee just doesn't happen. The black strap used to fasten has been chewed through twice. I sewed it back together as he'd chewed it through the middle. He did it again. Now theres a gap where he can get to his eye. This item, as far as i'm concerned, is not that good or fit for purpose. The velcro strap is the achilles heel. Leaves a gap wide open when the point is to surround & protect. Waste of money & time.
