I ordered this has i have pulled muscles in the top of my leg and into the groin area and butock, the physio said the muscles were very tight and to keep exercising, and to go back in 5 to 8 weeks if it doesn't improve. Well it's been 4 weeks and it's not getting any better and some days i can hardly walk it's so painful. I decided to try one of these, it is a little big for me but i put it as tight as I can and it seems to help me walk a bit better without limping, it also seems to ease the pain, I'm not saying it will cure it but it certainly helps me walk better. I will continue to use it until I can get to see the physio or a doctor again.

Having read the reviews I was really hoping that this would help with my hip pain while waiting for a replacement. However there was no relief at all. Also as this was for my right hip all the fastenings are at the back making it a bit more difficult to put on, for the left hip it would be a lot easier with the fastenings at the front. As the band sits below the waist it is pointless using waist measurements, you need to measure around the top of the hips. I gave it a good try over two days doing the normal things like shopping, walking the dog etc. I have given 3 stars overall as it came the next day as stated and it was comfortable but sadly lacking in the reasons for really needing it.

I was skeptical about this and didn't think it would make a difference. Glad to say I was wrong. I feel completely supported. I have tried another style and feel this one supports better

I have an arthritic hip and am in desperate need of a hip op. I take heavy duty pain killers twice a day.After reading the reviews I thought this would be worth a shot if it could relieve some of the pain. Sadly it does not.The neoprene is considerably thinner than I was expecting and so by its very nature is not very supportive at all.By not being supportive the pain doesn't go away and instead it's just something else which crumbles over, makes you feel uncomfortable and provides for me anyway absolutely no benefit

After a nice few days away, last day turned into a drag as the old hip was giving me a right lot of pain. After a bit of research I decided to try one of these supports. Came the following day, not the best thing thing to try and put on 1st time ( would be interesting in an aircraft toilet), however, after getting it right and moving again I found it was actually helpful. I hope it wasn’t an isolated case but it did help and didn’t need to wear again after about 4 days. Any one who has hip problems this would in my mind help short term. Regards

I only bought this so it might be a bit early for a review but the difference it has made to me is unreal. I wear it at night as the mornings were a damn nuisance. Felt like a ninety year old!You will still have to use your pain killers, whether tablets or gel of course but I find I'm not needing nearly as much. This is not a miracle cure but it is a great help.There is so much Velcro it sticks to everything! Hence the four stars.Seriously considering buying a second one for during the day. Well done folks!

I'm an ex competitive gymnast with messed up hips. My right hip is higher than my left, and I can only describe it as 'coming out of place' at times. It doesn't dislocate, but my femur and pelvis get really extra out of whack/misaligned if I'm doing certain things and it shoots my constant level 3 pain up to 8 or 9 and being unable to walk at times. My muscles are super tight and it it makes it difficult to realign once it's messed up for the day. I work a pretty physically brutal job and constantly lug around 20kg (44lb) feed bags and shovel snow, both tasks that aggravate my hips. This brace doesn't stop it from hurting, but it does help prevent me from getting into those higher pain levels. Preventative only. The top I strap around as tight and I can get it around my lower back and upper glutes, and the leg bit on my right leg. It helps support the back muscles while feeling like it pulls my leg downwards to help keep it from tilting up higher. Once I'm down for the count though, it just becomes decoration. I try to only wear it for tasks I really need the support for and not all day to avoid the muscle weakening further. The downsides are that the velcro wears out pretty quickly and that it gives you an awful muffin top since it sits so low. Also makes you need the bathroom constantly since it's tight around the bladder. It's too much of a life saver to care that much about any of that though.

It doesn't make the pain magically vanish. That is too great a hope. But it provides support so all the small strains now pass unnoticed, and the deeper bends and twists hurt less. Good compliment to my regimen of NSAIs, Ice, and heat. I use it every day now. Note: the Velcro is wicked strong and grabby, so I tend to leave the leg part as a tube and just step into it. Less bending in the morning, when the sciatica is at its worst.

Seller reject to refund and take money and it’s not for on my leg it’s very small size poor quality I want to refund it otherwise I’ll complain in consumer forum
