Works well but do NOt over tap
First time using something like this - no instructions included -just watched video. It did caution to not over expand or ring could break. You can't tell what size you are at as you tap- next time I will proceed more cautiously and remove ring from mandrel and try the fit BEFORE the back of band snaps. Luckily it was a cheap ring.

does what it should, but shows it
Did not like nor dislike, bought this to help with cleaning a Mark III. A few raps on the nylon side of the hammer led to knicks, dents and what looks like a crack. That said, it is still in one piece and manages to allow striking the necessary objects just as effectively. Glad I have it still.

Nice little mallet
This little mallet is a good size and a nice way to tap together small plastic, vinyl, or wood items that might otherwise be scratched or broken by a metal hammer. I haven't used it for anything too fragile, but It's been helpful to me for tapping together friction-fit 3d-printed parts that almost, but not quite fit together.

Well made, good size, dual ended.
* Overall Impression:-This is a good value for a dual ended smaller sized mallet that’s sturdy and well made.* Pros-what I liked and what worked well:-Good value for the style, size and quality.-Good quality in the materials, make and finish, well made and a nicely polished finish.-Dual sided (you can remove the end caps as well on either side)-1 side is a soft rubber material.-1 side is a smooth plastic that’s a bit harder.-You can also remove both ends to use it without one or both of the end pads for just the metal area.-Easy to hold and grip on the ergonomic, non slip handle.-Has enough weight to it to work well without being too heavy.-Good size, not too large or too small.-Length: 8.9 inches.-Width: (end of mallet) 2.5 inches across (not the mallet surface)-Width of the mallet surfaces: 0.7 inches across-Stainless steel, rubber and plastic construction.-Weight: 1.78 pounds.* Cons-what I didn’t like and what didn’t work well:-No issues.* Tips & Thoughts:-Note that this is not a large, full sized mallet. It’s not as small as a watch or jewelry mallet, but it’s not huge either. It’s on the smaller side but not too small, it’s a good size for general household use.-Even with the ends, be careful, if you use too much force, impact or too many impacts you could still if you’re not careful dent or scratch the material or item you’re using it with. You’re less likely to do so with care and a device like this, but still use caution and care with delicate materials and surfaces.-Be sure and check the listing pictures and details to be sure it’s the right size for your use.

Cheap in every way
I guess you get what you pay for. Both ends were loose when I got it. And then after I tightened them and used this to try to shape a silver ring on a mandrel, it only took a few hits to almost destroy the material on the mallet. Not quality at all.
