The beginner flight mode is awesome. I had tried RC flying once before years ago and just kept crashing, it was very frustrating. This one if you put it in the beginner mode is very easy to takeoff, fly, and land. I did put it in a tree once but once we got it out it flew fine afterwards.

Bought as used in new condition. The plane was clearly crashed and damaged literally in pieces with a broken propeller. On top of that the radio was missing with no battery for the plane.

Plane is great. Read the manual. I was used to flying the little volantec planes and this is a little different. Very easy to fly and a great learning tool. And Horizon Hobby is great if you have problems.

Tons of fun, great balance of slow flight but enough size to fly ‘with some weight’ relative to the UMX planes.Big issue tho - the vertical stab hinge is just pinched foam and the tail wheel is not braced, so if you actually fly grass/dirt ops with it, the tail wheel will eventually rip the tail off. Hopefully on landing and not takeoff… Major miss!Would also be sweet if it just had lights, it really lends itself wonderfully to being a dusk plane…

Right out the box read instructions and on beginning mode took off and flew any issues pressed panic botton it leveled out and I was back in control.Never flew a RC plane before.

I like this plane. It responds well, has a good motor, and flight times are above average. BUT...be extremely careful and fly it with no wind. NO wind. It's so light that even the slightest breeze may send it out of control or into a tree. Be careful. Otherwise a good plane to train with.

I got this Apprentice STOL and it had the elevators reversed. After a couple hours of researching and trying to watch the very few videos available for this SLT6 transmitter, I had to return the product. It does not seem possible at the moment to reverse any channels, or if it IS possible, they have not documented it anywhere yet. Which is crazy because even the cheapest transmitters on here can do it quite easily.... And it sounds like I am not the only one having this issue too. Others have posted the same and similar problems on other sites.

For a first time RC plane it was easy to set up and fly. Recommend a second battery purchased as it only lasts about 12 minutes.
