This does exactly what it says it will do. The sizing is perfect and feels very supportive when on. I use it when going to the gym whilst I recover from a peri prosthetic femur fracture.

I ordered this has i have pulled muscles in the top of my leg and into the groin area and butock, the physio said the muscles were very tight and to keep exercising, and to go back in 5 to 8 weeks if it doesn't improve. Well it's been 4 weeks and it's not getting any better and some days i can hardly walk it's so painful. I decided to try one of these, it is a little big for me but i put it as tight as I can and it seems to help me walk a bit better without limping, it also seems to ease the pain, I'm not saying it will cure it but it certainly helps me walk better. I will continue to use it until I can get to see the physio or a doctor again.

Having read the reviews I was really hoping that this would help with my hip pain while waiting for a replacement. However there was no relief at all. Also as this was for my right hip all the fastenings are at the back making it a bit more difficult to put on, for the left hip it would be a lot easier with the fastenings at the front. As the band sits below the waist it is pointless using waist measurements, you need to measure around the top of the hips. I gave it a good try over two days doing the normal things like shopping, walking the dog etc. I have given 3 stars overall as it came the next day as stated and it was comfortable but sadly lacking in the reasons for really needing it.

I took god awful pain in left hip and thigh, pain was that bad couldn't get asleep, so sent away for support brace and since I put it on I've had no pain in either hip or thigh and I can get asleep so definitely a go to for pain relief.

I have an arthritic hip and am in desperate need of a hip op. I take heavy duty pain killers twice a day.After reading the reviews I thought this would be worth a shot if it could relieve some of the pain. Sadly it does not.The neoprene is considerably thinner than I was expecting and so by its very nature is not very supportive at all.By not being supportive the pain doesn't go away and instead it's just something else which crumbles over, makes you feel uncomfortable and provides for me anyway absolutely no benefit

I only bought this so it might be a bit early for a review but the difference it has made to me is unreal. I wear it at night as the mornings were a damn nuisance. Felt like a ninety year old!You will still have to use your pain killers, whether tablets or gel of course but I find I'm not needing nearly as much. This is not a miracle cure but it is a great help.There is so much Velcro it sticks to everything! Hence the four stars.Seriously considering buying a second one for during the day. Well done folks!
