Purchased this just to sift grains. We mill our own flour so I buy grains in 25 lb bags. An organic product can sometimes can have chaff (some of the hull) left on, bad pieces of grain and even small rocks. I don't want to take any chances running it through my Mockmill Lino 200 so I "sift" and sort small quantities at a time before I grind my flour. This works perfectly keeping the grain and larger debris that can be picked over on the screen and the dust and chaff goes through. It's very sturdy and put together well Perfect solution for me!!

I really like the wide, flat shape of this strainer. The mesh allows it to drain everywhere instead of just at the bottom like some other strainers do. It is well built, good quality, and appears that it will last for a long time.

This strainer meets my needs. I love the shape and fine mesh, also that it has feet to sit on counter. I use it for many things and may order a smaller one.

Nice item. Mesh size is perfect for smaller items like rice. Only reason not 5-star is the frame/basket could be sturdier. Overall happy with the size and quality.
