This fitting served its purpose well as a replacement in my daughter's bedroom. The installation was straightforward and it fits nicely into the existing rose. It doesn't look flashy, but for the price it's perfectly adequate for a kids' room and I only needed it so i could dangle an LED light/ fan and didn't want it hanging too low, so perfect for the job. The build is basic-plastic material and no extra frills, but that works fine. It holds the light/ fan securely and there's no flickering or issues so far. If it lasts a decent length of time then for what it cost I'd deem it a good buy. If I were to give one minor reservation it's that the plastic finish feels a little lightweight, so it may not be something I'd pick if I were after a premium ceiling light. But for its role in a bedroom it's more than good enough.

Rather large, 8-cord terminal will suffice for even more complicated electrical installations. 6A current limit allows the use virtually any light bulb available on the market (as long as it fits the socket type you chose). It will work out in any room except the bathroom (IP rating not high enough). Overall, it's a great value for what it is and the only disadvantage is the plastic used for the base: if treated very roughly, it may crack under pressure. As long as it's handled with minimum care, it will work and look just great. Highly recommended.

The fitting itself is of very good quality and looks well. Has a feature where you can attach the lamp shade too. However the price is extortionate - exactly the same fitting but with bayonet socket goes for about £3.

This is really easy to wire in and black looks much better than the white one I had. I bought a new screw in light/fan so I had to change the pendant from a bayonet fitting to a screw in,for it to fit. I'm so glad I did now,most bulbs are big screw fittings these days,so I can also put my other rainbow colour,LED bulbs in if I want to. A very reasonable price to upgrade your bayonet,ceiling pendants. Highly recommended by me. I'm really happy with mine. Thanks !!!

Great with a bit of mayo.

Easy to put up and use with purchased light fitting. Altered cable length a little to suit new light . All good for the look we wanted.Would purchase again if required.

It's a little on the small size but not to the point of issue. It's relatively easy to install it's labelled well enough. It's functions well so far. Will see if it lasts. I do not have a shade at this time so can not attest for it's ability to hold up With added weight.

Very poor quality. The wire plastic casing is crumbling and one of the wires is snapped.
