While yes you can definitely use other cups, there’s no harm in trying a product whose function is to make your life easier! I can’t remember the number of times I missed the small cups that come from those pregnancy test kits or accidentally peed my hand from trying to catch specimen. We just started trying and my doctor required me to test every single day and the ease of use of this is beyond me! I actually look forward to using it every morning. What got me was 1) it’s reusable and environment friendly! 2) it’s bigger and peeing on it is easier with the foldable handle 3) it folds down and came with a travel bag which is perfect because we’ll be traveling next week and I can easily bring it with me! I was about to buy another brand but it didn’t come with a bag and the handle didn’t fold that’s why I went with this! It’s also very easy to clean up..I just wash it with dishwashing liquid after every use. Highly recommend!

Worked great. Good price for all the possible uses. The size is nice, not too small but not to large that it makes it hard to travel with. It’s made well and easy to use. You don’t have to worry about accidentally cracking them when your carrying it around unlike the plastics ones. It very sturdy and not flimsy.

Update: It’s been 2 years since I’ve gotten it and going through the monthly process of testing now for Baby #2!! Literally cannot recommend enough. I have given this to all of my TTC friends, or even recently finding out they were preggo, as this is sooooo much easier to use than just putting a lil cup down there throughout pregnancy to pee at the drs. Especially now with a toddler, it’s just soooo much easier- just make sure you dump it and clean it well!!! (Trust me, you don’t make that mistake twice. Oof.) OG: Used it pre-pregnancy for my monthly pregnancy tests while we were trying and now for all my prenatal appointments!!! Constantly at asked to pee in a cup but this is no fuss, EASY to clean, high quality materials, and a great shape. Have had it for a while and have love love loved it! 100/10 recommend. Great value for money in reusability, too! Does what the description says and is so compact and handy. Pop it in your purse and go! (Just make sure you take the little wet bag it comes with!!) Update, over a year and a half later: STILL love it. 100/10 recommend. I get it for all my friend who are trying or recently pregnant. This saved me so much headache especially when I was huge at the end of the pregnancy!

Used this daily for months for my fertility testing. Nice size, easy to clean, easy to put away due to the collapsible design. The handle makes testing far easier, and I honestly miss it whenever I go to the doctor's office and have to pee in a cup! Definitely recommended if you have to take frequent urine tests for a period of time.

Its a well made silicone/plastic cup. Easy to use, easy to travel with. Does the job, no holes, expands and collapsing is easy. Not much more to say lol

Very happy I decided to purchase this product and stop using disposable cups. The cup is easy to use, clean, and with the collapsible feature, store.

Cannot believe I ever used anything else. Yes it seems like such a first world purchase but jeez it makes it SO easy. I accidentally ordered the pregmate also and it isn't the same good quality as the Frida one, it's kinda more floppy, so I definitely think the Frida one is going to last much longer and hopefully not need to be replaced as quickly as the pregmate one. Also the pregmate one is smaller and easier to spill, so the Frida one being wider with a more stable handle makes spills way easier to handle!

I have never liked peeing into a cup so much!! I love the design, the handle makes it so easy. Being that it is silicone, it is high quality, and easy to clean. It is the perfect size and is great quality. If you are in need of a nice cup to pee in, this is definitely worth the money.

Para lo que es funciona excelente, solo me hubiera gustado que el color fuera mas transparente que blanco ya que hace que la orina se vea mas turbia de lo que es y ya me he dado sustos pensando que puedo tener una infección de orina.

I have to test my pee often due to kidney issues. I am so obsessed with this thing that I’m buying a second one for on the go! FYI, I clean mine in a little countertop steamer designed for menstrual cups :)
