Loved this so much, I think it’s my current favourite children’s book! Phil Earle is an incredible author and I think this book is equally as, if not more, enjoyable for adults than for children.I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.

A gripping story from the very start when young Joseph arrives in London alone, far from family and friends, surrounded by the devastation of a war-torn city. But despite his anger and his loneliness, Joseph manages to develop some very intriguing friendships. Such a heartwarming story.
