I purchased this to replace the original for my Kingslim dash cam. This is the third rear facing camera I've purchased. The other cameras have a tendency to get shaved off the hatch-back when you accidentally close the garage door before closing the car door. This time I wised up and bought a flush mount rear facing camera.This camera has the best night vision of all the cameras I've used. When I back out of the drive way at night I can see the color of my taillights as well as the green of the grass. I am truly satisfied with the resolution and night vision of this camera.One thing to note though. You can mount this on a bracket or you can flush mount it. If you go with a flush mount the camera comes with a hole saw. The hole saw will cut through plastic only. If you are mounting into a steel door panel you will need to purchase a better quality hole saw. Other than that, this is a great camera.

Wired correctly camera doesn’t work only reason I know this is reverse and power are wire together reverse gets power switches the head unit to camera but camera can’t display andything. Wired several different times in hopes it’ll work. Camera never responded

So let me start by saying, in optimal conditions this cam performs better than any other aftermarket backup camera I’ve installed, even name brand cams that cost twice as much. In the right lighting and environment, the image quality is crisp and sharp and the wide angle view is fantastic.On the downside, it performs really poorly in light extremes. For instance, night views on this camera is dark and very fuzzy and sunny days result in a some contrast that can make backing out of a parking spot a little difficult with the peripheral views. I’ve also learned that on very hot days, especially if my car has been parked in the sun for several hours, such as at work, the image is blurry to the point that it’s not really any help when reversing. It does seem to improve after some time once it’s out of the sun, but I do worry about the longevity of the lens considering it’s only been installed about a month and is already degrading. Overall, I can see this being a good backup camera for some setups and it is very inexpensive.

Great quality, and functional.

Had to use 720P instead of 1080 but I had no issues installing it onto an FJ cruiser with a Sony XAV-AX6000 headunit. My son loves it! I love the flush appearance on the rear bumper.

Item comes with a drill bit that makes installation a perfect fit. I installed the camera on the rear bumper of my Mitsubishi Montero. I didn't want the camera to stick out or look obviously out of place. With the included bit, installation was simple and adds a custom look. All wiring was simple and routed along the interior of the vehicle. Plenty of wiring.
