I purchased this as a Time Machine backup disk for the Mac Studio I had on order. Unfortunately reports of problems with the Mac caused me to postpone the purchase. I belatedly hooked the G-Drive Pro up to my PC TB Pcie card and there seemed to be no no trace of the drive in File Explorer. Over USB I could get a connection but the TB was faulty. Western Digital provided excellent customer support and through software diagnosed the unit as faulty and commenced a RMA. I contacted Amazon via chat and a replacement was sent out the following day. Thank you Amazon. Although disappointed with the fault, I was impressed by WD's response and the length of the guarantee period on Sansdisk products.

great you can loop this drive and it is fast

Commandé le 08 septembre et livré en retard le 13. Ce n'est plus un service que je payais avec prime. En plus le disque Thunderbolt pose des problèmes. Il n'est pas reconnu par win 11 sur mon HP Elitebook 840G5. Je dois éteindre le disque et attendre puis seule l'allumer. Il ne démarre pas avec win11 immédiatement après le bout. Je cherche l'erreur depuis une semaine. La rapidité pour l'instant est mediocre et pourtant il est branché correctement sur le port Thunderbolt de mon hub hp tout G2.

Die G-Drive ist eine solide, stabil gebaute Festplatte, die auch noch gut aussieht. Ich habe hier meine Musikdateien von einer anderen, älteren G-Drive geklont, was recht flott ging. Insgesamt 2T in ein paar Stunden.Im Grunde eine gute Festplatte, allerdings gibt es ein paar Punkte, die verbesserungswürdig wären. Der Stromkabelstecker wackelt ein wenig, da wünschte man sich mehr Stabilität bei so einem hohen Preis. Sie knackt ein wenig. Die erste, bestellte G-Drive habe ich deshalb zurückgeschickt, weil zu laut. Die 2. ist ok, knackt aber auch ein bisschen.Die älteren G-Drive-Platten schalten sich beim Runterfahren des Laptops auch aus. Das ist hier anders, die Festplatte ist weiterhin einsatzbereit und die helle G-Leuchte brennt. Man muss sie händisch ausschalten, wenn man das nicht möchte.
