This light is great and adjust easily for various needs. Couldn’t be better!

I have about 6 of these lamps. Very bright and useful to light up hobbie projects.

For YEARS I had an Ott Light that finally went the way of all flesh, and so I wanted to replace it. I bought this model because it looked practically identical to the one I'd had. It went together really well, and quickly, plus it was sturdy when we were finished.Unfortunately this light does NOT allow you to swivel the light shade to send the light wherever you want it. DARN!!!!! I used that feature ALL the time! This light shade is a solid piece with the head assembly. And the goose neck attachment will NOT let the light swivel.I've already taken it out of the box and assembled it so I guess I'm stuck with it. But darn, I wish you could put the light where you need it. I use this for grooming dogs and that feature alone made me LOVE this brand and this light. Sadly, this current model does NOT let me get the light where I really need it.However, Ott Lights DO produce a powerful clear cool light so you can definitely see SO much better. I haven't found anything else that produces a better light than this lamp. So if you're looking for a lamp that will shine a WONDERFUL light straight down on your project THIS IS THE ONE.

Light on machine wasn't cutting it. This floor lamp doesn't take up space on your task area and is nice and bright. Does produce heat (as expected) but not excessive

Bought it for painting in the studio. The light is of good color but lacks intensity. Have to place near the desk to see well. Too pricy for what you get.

I like the fact that I can take this light from a workplace to my living room and have light right where I need it, either cross stitching or shedding more light on cutting out pattern. The base is heavy, so it stays where you put it without fear of knocking it over. The gooseneck on the light is very helpful in getting close to the work.

Overall an excellent light. The weighted base was slightly awkward to handle when assembling, but makes the lamp sturdy when in use. The size is just right for my work space.

Nice and bright like being outside in the sun.

I love love love this light, it is exactly what I wanted. My husband got it for me for Christmas. I set it up early.It has a heavy base, allowing for easy maneuvering of the light. Perfect.

Was pleased that this time it came with everything. I like Ottlites for needle work.

The wrench tool they provided to set it up was the wrong size. Needed 2 people -1 to hold it together & 1 to screw the bolt in.Good light.

It is useful for task lighting.

I like it because it is like daylight.I use it by my knitting machines and by my chair for hand knitting or sewing.I have 2 now and love them.Arlene
