I installed over 30 of these, they are very good and look nice too. Remember these are 15 Amp load, therefore, the holes on the back only fit 14 gauge size.

Very happy with this set of receptacles. Better value than at the big box stores and the plates come with it. Back stab or screw on your choice.

I recently went to Home Depot and they only had regular outlets in stock and this square style which I find more stylish was completely out of stock. These outlets which include the wall plate work great and are about 30% cheaper than in retail stores. At this price and the convenience of receiving these in a day or two will have me always purchasing them from here.

I like the looks of these receptacles, and they were a perfect replacement fit.

I bought these to update the outlets in our finished basement. I had made it this far in life without knowing that outlet circuits could be either 15 or 20 amps, and the 20 amp uses bigger wire. I have a 20 amp circuit in this room, and these outlets won't take the larger wire. The cost of this life lesson was $7.81 plus the hassle of returning them. Don't be like me.But they looked great in the box, so five stars.

Note that these outlets are childproof meaning that if you try to install a plug without a ground pin it will be very difficult to insert the plug. A solution to that difficulty is to be patient when installing the 2 prong plug, ensuring the wide pin is on the left when the ground pin would be down and rocking the plug up and down while pushing the plug in. Gentle but firm pressure gets the plug in (This is important to know for adding ungrounded plugs and remote control devices) . Knowing this the outlets are good looking, safe and as easy to install as all other similar outlets.
