The Swift 2 Pro adds 1080p HD video recording over the Swift 2. The Swift Max is the entry-level option: shorter range (228ft vs 430ft), 3hr battery vs 5hr, 40° FOV vs 53.8°, and 850nm IR only. All share 1x magnification and head/helmet mounting.

Does the battery need to be removed to charge?

No need to remove the battery for charging - just plug the included USB-C cable straight into your device. The battery can be removed for replacement when needed using a Phillips (cross-head) screwdriver, but day-to-day charging happens in place.

What is the difference between 850nm and 940nm IR modes?

850nm gives brighter, longer-range illumination but emits a faint red glow visible to humans and animals. 940nm is fully covert with no visible glow, at the cost of slightly shorter range. Switch between them depending on your subject and distance.

Does the Swift 2 Pro record audio as well as video?

Yes, the Swift 2 Pro records audio alongside 1080p video, capturing the full atmosphere of your footage. Ideal for wildlife observation, recording animal calls, documenting nighttime activity or adding commentary to your recordings in the field.
